Did my part, made the switch while the 2,500 rebate was going on in June. Glad to be back in a Mustang, the Camaro experiment was a failed one.
Bullshit, Blaqwhole says nobody goes from a Camaro to a Mustang.

obvious troll.

And you can add about 25% to the Mustang total, if you include rest of the world sales :like:
Can not find anything on European or Australian sales numbers

Had no idea the challenger outsells the Camaro too. Would not have expected that.
Have you ever sat in a Camaro? It’s not hard to see the challenger out selling the Camaro. They really are that bad ergonomically. The Challenger on the other hand is the most user friendly car of the bunch. Big, roomy with the best sight lines in the class.

I have driven all three.

While I don’t necessarily dislike the Challenger it would definitely be my personal third pick of the lot.

Different strokes. I’d put the Camaro last. Of the three. You can make anything faster. Or handle better. But you can’t fix that f#&ked up design. I love the Camaros exterior. Good looking car. But the cabin is a dumpster fire to me.

For how big an heavy it is, I'd rather a Charger than the Challenger. If you could get a manual, widebody Scat Pack Charger I'd be hard pressed not to own one.

Eh, it obviously wasn’t my favorite as I picked the mustang, but I wouldn’t term it as that bad. The Dodge is so damn plain inside that it would bother me more.

That’s what drove me crazy about my 2011 Camaro. I paid 46 grand for a loaded 2SS/RS. And not only could you not see out of the damn thing. But the interior looked like it was designed by Lego. It was a mile of cheap plastic with no details at all. Horrible! The seats were as hard as a rock. About the only thing I did like about the inside of that car was the heads up display. A car that stickers for 50 large should at least make an effort.

I am always surprised when I see people - sometimes professional auto journalists - praise the quality of the Camaro interior. To me, it always seemed bland, empty, and cheap feeling. The border on the oddly tilted infotainment screen looks tacked on, cheap and out of place to me, and the instrument cluster housing looks very plasticky and tacked on as well. And of course there are the ergonomic and storage issues.

It has nice features, and the instrument cluster itself looks good, but overall, I was never (positively) impressed with the interior.

No doubt. If you're a bigger guy the Mustang could be cramped for leg room (my 6' 4" buddy had trouble) and the Camaro is even worse. Challenger is the way to go if you're a big dude.

Yeah, the Challenger is an order of magnitude bigger and more comfortable than the Mustang- especially the seats. Great trip car and DD. Way more standard features on the base car like dual zone AC, 7in touchscreen, etc. Mustang beats it in handling and performance unless you are getting a Scat or Hellcat. I think the sales numbers can vary wildly depending on how many cars the rental companies buy for their fleets that month.

Considering I can "never find one" do they really sell that many to such fleets? The cost to carry them from a liability insurance can't be very good even if all they rent out are the 4-bangers (which isn't the case).

I looked at nation-wide Enterprise used car sales of Camaro (31, equal mix of 2SS and 6Cyl) vs Mustang (45, all but 2 EB+convert) out of 8600 cars. 44 Challengers (almost all 6cyl SXT hardtop). I don't know what to conclude from such figures but perhaps the 'muscle' cars are about 0.5% of total car fleet size if the for-sale ratios hold (big ask)
