I hear you....it is definitely not that in Normal mode.

Normal mode in the GT500 is just weird. The car feels really slow if you forget to put it in Sport at least. I'm not honestly sure why it exists for this car.

For the OP, have you ever installed headers on one of these cars? It is no small job, personally I would get the Kooks green cats. A lot less work and should give you a solid volume reduction. Good luck either way
