Some of us like to keep our cars is excellent condition, that doesn't mean we don't drive the shit out of them, how the hell did you come to that conclusion?

Got a small chip on a trip back from Austin last week. Rock chips happen. While it is possible to limit them it is a cost/benifit situation. Do you show your car a lot? If so, invest in as much clear-bra as possible. There is a kit on amazon for like 400 bucks that will do the front end and the mirrors as long as you are willing to take the time and want to install it yourself. I looked at some and had my car ceramiced to provide some limited resistance but rocks are rocks are:

While it is possible to drive a car for multiple years without chips, it is improbable to keep them off without investing in some protection. That protection cost money. Also, what most people think are large rock chips are simply sun blasted insect remains. Keep your car clean and you will dodge a larger bullet.
