Obviously it is not. I'd call Ford and do what is necessary to get an engineer to look at the car.
@Cobrajet might be able to walk you through the process.
I already have. the dealer been working with Ford tech for last month or longer. it has been escalated again. but trust me.. there is nothing more i can do and yelling and screaming wont help.

For example. I just called dealer and they said that my service advisor is off they are closed but the guy i was speaking to would do nothing but leave a message, would not tell me anytrhing about my car or why it wasnt being worked on. they give no fucks... If i was to go there i would prob be arrested... and im NOT doing that... at end of day just a car...

Sorry to read about all the trouble with your car. If I read it correctly, it looks like you bought it used. Can you get the service/warranty history on the car from Ford prior to your ownership? Will the dealer/Ford even do a buyback on a used car?

Also sounds like Ford Engineering is trying to remote troubleshoot your problem. I went through this type of effort with GM a few years back. The techs could not do a thing to it without running it through GM, made things very frustrating on my end. I ended up dumping the car as soon as the warranty was about to expire. The dealer went out of their way to make me happy. I'd like to think I'm decent hobbyist mechanic. Once the service advisor knew that I had a little knowledge of how things are supposed to work he listened to one of my suggestions and gave it a try. Did not fix the issue....

Good luck to you and hope the dealer and Ford make it right for you.

That one sounds like timing chain. I thought there was a TSB for that one. I take mine in on the 21st for various issues. To include my noise and clunking front end when I slow down. I am sure they will tell me they hear nothing strange...

Help with what exactly?
I had sort of a similar situation and thought by telling you my story and experiences... it could help you. Right now you have a car you are paying for that you haven't been able to use for months and it's highly unlikely they will ever have this car running the way it "should run", without a new engine.

You can have the longest warranty in the world, but it doesn't mean anything if they don't want to go through the proper channels to get you a new engine. I wouldn't be comfortable even with a new bottom end, I'd want an entire new engine and they won't do that.

More than likely going to be spending money on something that will never be right. BUT, you have the right to run this thing through whatever path you choose. I'll be watching and I absolutely hope it works out.

That tells me they are getting directions from Detroit, they don't know what is wrong with it. I'd start asking for a new engine.

See if they will upgrade your rental to a mustang or F150. Something expensive. Might give them reason to change engines and figure this one out on a bench at the home shop
