I put a polished aluminum Mishimoto in place of the fugly plastic grenade.
Looks so much better in my opinion.

Got mine in! You may not like the look or design, or whatever your personal preference is, but this is hands down the nicest tank, and the nicest kit on the market. AN fittings and everything included for installation. Not super crazy about the 50 year old cap design, but hey, if it works. And photos to see the tank installed with the catch can (it was mentioned earlier but no pics yet)

And besides…it matches my Radium fuel rails quite nicely! ;)

The split design with bolts and a gasket is so much better than the welded solutions that have a high leak/defect rate.

Creates more space between the front of the motor and the expansion tank.

When I ordered mine, I spent about an hour trying to figure out why the bracket wouldn't line up with the holes and sent photos to Radium and he got me a replacement bracket out asap and worked great.

Who makes those catch can lines? I would love those over the ones that come with the FP catch can

Interesting little tidbit on this tank that I’m struggling with. I’m guessing it’s just due to the quantity of the tank. But I’m struggling to find a coolant level to stay with. Not a huge problem, but unexpected.

Half way full in the sight window is too much when warm. It’s filling up and pushing fluid out the overflow when normal ops temp. Now that I think I have it sitting around half way when hot, it’s completely out of sight when cold. Not empty, but not in the sight gauge. Taking more drive cycles to settle down, but I guess it’ll get there.

Thanks for this! Do you also have the driver side FP catch can installed, I didn't see any UPR lines for that one.
You can build your own for the drivers side catch can. Buy 4 ferrules and the hose. Cut the hose off to recycle the PVC fittings and cut the length of the hose you need.

@galaxy What did you decide on level?

Recently installed Radium reservoir and struggling with same question. Tried a couple different levels when cool like 3/4 and 1/3, but after driving the level goes max and stays there.

Nope, I gave up completely. Ditched it and went with a FatHouse tank. As much as I loved the Radium tank, I could not get the quantity to settle down and make any sense. I also never got rid of being able to audibly hear air gurggling through the system from inside the car when cranking up. As soon as I swapped in the other tank, all my problems were gone. Makes me wonder how many people are rolling around with same/similar symptoms on the Radium tank and don't even know it. Guess it's not hurting anything, but I couldn't live with it. It just never made sense because it doesn't get much easier than servicing/filling the system in this car.

Thanks for quick reply and info. I will post my assessment in coming weeks for others googling this item.

For now, i don’t get the gurgling you mention and engine temp is normal.

My engine temp was normal through ownership also. Like you, I could just never get the quantity to settle down.

Are you still running the radium? I’m strongly considering….
