Never used DBA personally, but they seem to be held in high regard for being a good middle of the pack rotor. High carbon content which is what you want in a performance rotor.

How much is shipping from Australia? That may put the total cost closer to Giro or Steeda, though still probably a bit cheaper.

I use DBA T3 4000 rotors (not 2-pc) and they are fantastic for the cost. I have zero complaints. They hold up well to track duty.

I buy through KNSbrakes.com

Have you had any problems inserting the shims into the calipers? I've seen a few TMO forum members note that they were unable to do so on their S197s

Looking to get these with R10/R8 brake pads, but worried about using them initially without the shims :/

I just did the Baer rotors and I love em. I don’t track mine though so couldn’t tell ya there. And to keep the hats looking like new longer, I put a coat of Adam’s graphene ceramic on them. LOL, don’t judge.

I thought about putting CSL on my Steeda set, but figured it's just gonna get burned off fairly quickly. Interested in seeing how it holds up for you.

Remember. In case you will. Track doesn't like the Drilled rotors :)

@Flyhalf any recommendations for solid (not slotted or drilled) rotors? I can’t seem to find any two piece ones that don’t have slots or drills. At this point, I’m thinking of sticking with the OEM PP rotors; given that solid > slotted > drilled (for durability), it’s hard for me to justify something like Girodisc or AP for the occasional track day šŸ˜…

The OEM for daily is the right choice .
R2 rotors is a good company too. I think they do solid rotors for pp1 cars.

I like slotted for track usage.
Girodisc also allows u to loose 22lbs of rotational mass. This will help acceleration.
And the cooling is the main thing.
Is it worth it spending 900-1000$ on 2 piece rotors for daily usage? No. :)

I would stick with oem.
Where are u i ha e 2 sitting here. Used 20miles. There is rust but brand new (u can sand it. )

Adams ceramic technology to the extreme! Also are those SVE 355 wheels with FP center caps? If so do the caps snap in tightly or are they kinda a loose fit? My OEM Pony caps did not fit exactly snug
