Thanks so my biggest concern is with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension, removing the driveshaft will result in the differential or the transmission side to move and be out of alignment. But I guess because those components are bolted to the chassis, that should never happen.Yup, you'll be fine doing this mod on a four post.
How is that done?Removing the driveshaft, and most likely a portion of the exhaust, has zero impact on how the transmission or differential are affixed. You may want to optimize driveline angles post-install but that's up to you.
I purchased mine through Late Model Restoration and it was drop shipped from the QA1 shop which is right here in Minnesota. I purchased the certified driveshaft just for peace of mind. Always had great service and response from LMR on some other items I purchased from them so it made sense to purchase from them again. Good luck and you won't regret it.
