Exactly. I’d of went that route if I could have. Using the alternate location behind factory airbox puts them in a stupid looking spot, visually. I thought this ended up looking very good.
Hey and thanks. Supports are from procharger and the pins are from Quiklatch. Call PC and tell them you need rad supports. They add a bit of space to accommodate an intercooler but I know folks running them for this reason without a PC.
In case anyone is interested, I’ll likely be selling this...
this is the best advice you'll get OP. If it leaks from where you think, have the tire dismounted and epoxy vac the hole yourself. It should be a quick job.
My issue is, the ZL1A seems to stick out too far... I like the style of this one better than the Raceng version but I find myself questioning if I want to use it. Anyone have pics installed and standing back a bit from the car? maybe from the side?
The sensor is literally that black plastic chunk at the opposite end of the plug. However, this is exactly how it comes out of the seat belt assembly; no wiring required. Just plug it back in.
I was totally surprised when I saw these were now "smart" seat belt in this thing...wonder if this is...
Ok well, I was going to build a resistor trap since I’ve read that 2 ohms will prevent fault. However I checked resistance and it was much higher…doesn’t mean 2 ohm resistor wouldn’t work but I didn’t feel like wasting my time, if it didn’t.
I just took the oem sensor unit out the lower belt...
The adjustable pedal stop made a big diff for me. The hatefulness is still there but overall I think it’s just a characteristic of this race clutch. It doesn’t do this stuff under load or when your really driving. Only in the driveway basically. It’s a hateful clutch for drivability, no doubt.
Seems low but then again you’re pushing only 6 psi. A lot of it is the tune and how hot the timing is set for your fuel setup.
for comparison, I make 803rwhp with 10ish psi. tuned for 93 + octane booster. If I remember correctly you’re going to get 30ish hp for every psi.
