Clutch feels great, but of course getting misfires since I need to do the neutral profile relearn. I don't want to take it to a dealer since they will just give me a blank stare. I need a SCT X4... pfft.

If you replace the clutch and flywheel the car will need to relearn it's misfire monitor protocol. If you don't do this then it will throw random misfire codes and go into limp mode randomly.
There's two ways to do this

Go to a dealer and have them do it with an IDS and pay an hour labor. Or use a Sct x4 that can also do it. Doesn't need to be married to the car.

Im going to do my clutch thursday night. Anything I need to know as far as taking apart shifter console area, so I dont break any interior clips/snaps? Also, you wouldnt happen to have the torque spec on the flywheel bolts would you? Thanks in advance for any insight.

I was out having a little fun last night and I don't think it will be long until I need a clutch as well.

Torque spec is 87 if I remember right.

Nothing I can think of is out of the ordinary for interior. I'd do a drive shaft too while you're there.

I dont think I want to invest any more in the MT82 for now. I am already caught off guard by how the entire driveline of this car is apparently a big problem. I will remain in a holding pattern for now and see how things pan out for fellow owners. But based on the general feelings I gather around here, it sounds like the car might need an entirely different type of transmission this year, and then I am looking at again replacing a clutch and driveshaft along with god-knows what else.

Look into rev auto mt82 rebuilds. Just as strong as a t56 magnum. Problem with going to the magnum is the lesser gearing so you'd need like a 4.10-4.30 gear to get the same acceleration. No one makes a gear higher than a 3.73 for our IRS right now.

I remember being quoted around $2400 for a strong rebuild. Get to keep your driveshaft and clutch too.

Good to know. Very good to know.

Where the t56 magnum is a cool swap. To get similar acceleration you'll want a 4.10 gear and its swap kit

New driveshaft, new clutch, new shifter, speedo calibration box since it can't use current sensors. It's roughly a $5500 swap to go magnum minus labor for everything which includes gears.
