That's great. Does every single Ford dealership in this country work this way (very rhetorical question if it isn't obvious) ?
We do, I can't speak for others, and, we are in Canada.

It isn’t the same on the track, there is a big difference. The Bullitt is a beautiful car though.

From what I remember tune gives you more torque over Bullit - which is what actually matters.

The torque gain is supposed to be 42 lbs at 2000 rpm, perfect for exiting corners on the track.
maybe so but no self-respecting track rat is lugging the engine at 2000 RPM around a corner. They'd be solidly 3500 RPM unless the corner was so tight 2nd gear resulted in such low RPMs and they chose not to drop to 1st.

There is a long thread about this tune elsewhere with multiple pages - try to find it. It has more low end torque - which for me was easily noticeable, especially with tall gearing and PP1 stock rear tire. Modes itself are unaffected by it.

IAT stay about 5-6 degrees above ambient unless you stop, then they soar. Literally.
Check to see if your kit came with/had the cold air intake tube installed.
Some early kits APPARENTLY were missing the intake tube. These guys (and gals) were seeing IATs reach 150+ while idling.

My kit has the intake tube installed and the foam gasket seal on top, and I only see IATs about 7-10°C above ambient if idling on a warm day.

It did - I've installed long long ago but it definitely did come with it. Mine was 2nd batch of kits that shipped.

You still get high IAT temps when idling in real warm weather. It cools down as soon as you move, that being said I think its exagerated. When I start the car first thing in the morning the IATs on the dash are quite a bit higher than in the garage and the car is stone cold.

I've heard a lot of people get engine ping after looking around, at least with the 18-20 kit. The best thing about the ProCal is the ability to program 4.09 gears though. Probably worth it just for that.

The pinging was with the 2015-1017 Ford Racing PowerPack 2 and 3. I haven't heard of anyone getting pinging with the Ford Racing powerpack with the 2018-2020. i have had my kit on since August when we had 108 temps and had no pinging. I also run 2 gallons of VP101 and 2 gallons of E85 to get me near 94 octane and have had no pinging.

I drove last Friday in Sport mode. Holy $hit. What an amazing difference, it helps everything. I downshifted with an open window and a van beside me, the blip hurt my left ear. Shifting even seems better. I think Ford Performance got it right with this, the throttle body, the huge air intake and the programming. I can't wait until the track season starts. I also took the cabin sound package out and it makes it a lot easier to check your oil. I am very happy with this.

Has anyone done a dyno test with this kit?

After installing the 4.09s and needing a Lund tune to correct for them (because the Procal was not available at the time), I noticed that there was no discernible performance changes after the “performance tune” and EVERYONE said that this isn’t Lund’s fault since there was really no performance to be found in the gen 3 Coyote without switching to ethanol.

So which is it?

I haven't dyno'd the car with this but my butt says the torque claims look to be true, the throttle response has really improved, the car has been awoken. It is a totally different car.

I've been reading about this kit. When it first came out it was a lot more money and really wasn't worth it to me. Plus there were a lot of uninspiring reviews likely due to the fact a key component was missing from the kit. Now it's at the point where I am going to go for it. I have no interest in doing a blower or turbo. I just need a little more low end grunt and to get rid of that ridiculous rev hang. This kit pairs really well with the manual 6 sp and the PP1 or PP2 cars with the 3.73 diff gearing. I am going to order it next month. So excited to install this!

You are going to love the differences you will get in the car.
