Does anyone know if the mustangs saddle tank is split evenly on both sides of the car? I may be having a venturi failure (pulling fuel from the passenger side).
Long story short, this morning on the way home, I had to stop and get fuel. What said 50 miles to E quickly turned into a 12 miles to E in the matter of 4 miles. Once it got to 25 miles to E it was dropping a mile every 5 seconds or so. Very quickly.
Once I filled up, the car only took 12 gallons. There's no way I'd still have 4 gallons left with 12 miles to E, would I? Doesn't make any sense.
I mean I could have a malfunctioning sending unit? The float arm is perfectly fine. I pulled it out about 6 months ago to inspect it for this same issue. Just never got around to it.
Thanks.
