I ran a purple shaft cam 284-.528 solid lifter in a 340 and it was a stout cam, tried a couple of other purple cams and they were lousy.Exactly right. Not even aftermarket coyote cams will give a decent bump in horsepower.
I remember replacing my factory Mopar 440 cam with a purple shaft .509 lift 292 duration cam and that was 80hp all day, everyday, before matching the rest to it.
Now it's 1500 buckaroos for a 15hp gain.
Bank 1 and 2 are all we have in the coyote.
It will show long and short term, you should also have a lbs per min channel.
So a quick play around tonight produced this :Thank you.
I was kind of hoping it would combine bank 1 & 2 to give an overall value, as the graph function will only record four values, so I can’t capture short / long & 1 / 2, along with lb/min on the same plot.
I have now found I can split the graph though :

So I will have to see how useful that is once it starts to populate data.

Missed this, yes I have a screen before and after the MAF. It makes the car run smoother at idle and cruise. I see no hit to WOT lbs per min.So, anybody other than @NightmareMoon & I put theory to practice
with using a screen ?
