Here is the list of mods in this Gen3:

-Ported Holley Ultra Lo-Ram intake
-VMP TwinJet 69mm throttle body
-Ford Perf 55LB GT500 injectors
-Boundary OPG’s
-Kook’s 1 7/8” green cat LTH w/Xpipe
-Wengerd 93 and E85 tunes

I’m trying to decide between the STD stage 2 or the mutha thumper stage 2.
The thumper has more exhaust duration and slightly less lift. I don’t usually see less than 3000-3500rpm on track so I leaning toward the Stage 2 mutha thumper.

What are your thoughts?

I had not planned to do cams, but after seeing how far I have to go to get to the OPG‘s I might as well.

There's very little data, and data that people will share on cams. I have a build on my 22 GT with the standard NSR Stage 2s. I'd bet the thumpers, or any other bigger cams are only giving you improvement above 6500rpm. Also, keep in mind "NSR No springs required" up to factory redline. So I did springs, retainers, all tensioners and chain upgrades and Innovators west balancer, along with an electric water pump. The dyno graph is nearly complete FBO, intiial cams build, then cams build with 95mm ZR1 throttle body and light port match on the lo-ram. (all E85)

Great results!

Gives me hope for my ported boss and 95mm zr1 throttle body setup I am working on.

I have cams installed but still have my 2018 ported mani (car is a 15). Doesn't feel as fast as it should and I am betting that the manifold is really restricting power in the upper rpm where the cams want the power band to be.
