Good god, for 500 dollars I'll just keep paying for AAA because I'll probably get rid of the car before the membership costs me as much as that kit.

So when you get a sidewall cut on 495 at 4:30pm and AAA tells you that it will be at least 90 minutes before they can come get you, after which they will drop your car at the dealer (who will be closed by the time you arrive), your response is .......

I should have bought the $80 wheel from ebay (Explorer if I recall, also a Nissan SUV) that would have worked.

What wheel was that? A spare from a newer model Explorer?

Well, the Mustang is my 3rd car so whatever?

I've legit BROKEN a wheel before on my previous car. Just had AAA tow my car back to my house so I could order parts and tires and then had them tow it to the shop later in the week to have the work done.

Not really a big deal.

I have 2 sets of wheels, one set with winter tires and one with summer tires, so I can just use one of those extra wheels, but does anybody know where I can buy a compact scissor jack that will work well with the mustang?

Also, as the summer wheels are staggered, does anybody know if the front wheel will also work on the back in case of emergency? My winter wheels are not staggered and any wheel can either on the front or back.

Took my '16 to the dealer for it's scheduled oil change/inspection (pre-purchased). They did the tire rotation too. But it's a
PP car. I didn't know they did the rotation, so when I was tracking the car I was surprised to hear the front tire rubbing. I still drove the car another week before I checked what was causing the noise. Yep, dealer had the 9.5s on the front and 9s on
the rear. Luckily, I had a .25" spacer up front which kept the offset reasonable.

A summer front wheel will work on the back axle. As you've seen yourself, a rear winter tire can go on any point on the car. The summer front can do the same.

Handling will be compromised if a narrower tire is on the back against a much wider tire, but in a "got a flat and heading home" scenario, that shouldn't be a big deal.
