OK. Which intake to get?

Im about to pull trigger on a intake and tune. Im thinking of going with a lund tune or vmp. Thoughts? And how about intake? Im looking for a effective low iat intake that has good gains and sound. Right now im considering the following
Pmas. Steeda. Jlt. Roush.

The PMAS has been really hot and I use one on my personal car and love it. We have a power pack that includes Lund tuning on either the nGauge or SCT X4 available in this link:

I am running Steeda and love it. Steeda customer service is amazing and their products are top notch. Mine fits like a glove and was easy to install and it looks killer, too.

The only other CAI that would get my money would be the PMAS unit.

If you are looking for a no tune required cai I would say the Windstorm Series CAI from Livernois Motorsports. But they also have one that requires a tune which is the Severe Windstorm Series CAI. Found here http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP451329

I researched the crap out of this and wound up going with the PMAS with their calibrated MAF for no tuning needed. My IAT have only been 4-8 degrees above ambient even in hot humid coastal Texas 100 degree heat in a magnetic colored car. I've enjoyed it and it runs great.

I have the Roush (not the most popular) and I actually like it. I ran with the insert in for quite awhile then ended up removing it when I got tuned. I have been debating about getting the PMAS but only because I want to see how much extra, if any, power I would make with it.

My steeda was a PITA to install, specifically the joint between the plastic elbow and the maf housing. Other than it running hot in the new orleans heat (comes with the territory on open-box intakes), I have no other complaints.

Hey man. I did buy the tune only version from Steeda. I put it on the day before my dyno tune session date.

My steeda was a PITA to install, specifically the joint between the plastic elbow and the maf housing. Other than it running hot in the new orleans heat (comes with the territory on open-box intakes), I have no other complaints.

Mine was really easy to install. I installed it on a hot ass day so maybe that made thing easier. I put the 2 pieces together that you had issues with first and then slid the end over the TB side and it was a piece of cake. Easiest CAI I have installed in a long, long time.
