So I have a stock new Mustang GT that I want to put a catch can on. I need help with which one. There are 2 or 3 different ones for NA. There is a 8oz one for around $200 and a 5oz one for around $140. Only doing passenger side.

UPR PN "5030-98" is the unit that is for $199 and has a capacity of 8oz with all OEM quick connect fittings, so it makes install super easy and only takes about 5 mins. We have used UPR for all of our personal shop cars here at Lethal Performance for oil separators and they are one of the best out there! Let us know if you need any help with anything.

Ford Performance on my car. It fits OEM, looks good and hidden, and will not affect any warranty claims. Summit Racing had the best price at $154+. A 10 minute install!

What is the deal with passenger/driver side? Do you actually need both of them?

In my experience with Coyotes you only need the passenger one unless boosted and even then it's really not needed.

Typically passenger side. On boosted we do both.

Not sure I am understanding the passenger driver difference. If the goal of the Catch can is to collect oil residue during high rpm operation, wouldn’t you need both sides?

get both if you want but in my experience on a Coyote only the passengers side is needed on a NA setup. Maybe if you were road racing the car you might need a driver side.

Neither. Get a Moroso or Ford Performance model. :)
Ford Performance catch can fitted to Roush blown vehicle.
The oil residue you see here is after only a few thousand miles. I’d say it’s virtually useless.
Meanwhile, I’ve been running UPR for MANY thousands of miles with no issues whatsoever.
I’d suggest that they aren’t all created equal.
