I'm thinking about doing an intake and a 91 octane tune on my 2015 GT over the winter.

Is there a general consensus on which intake and tune kit is the best on these cars? Ford Performance? Steeda? Lund? PMAS? I like the look of the N-Gauge when installed in the little vent but I'm not sure if there is a kit that comes with it?

Yes. A 18+ manifold and a Lund flex tune is the way I went on n my 15.

Interesting... So a manifold and intake off of an 18+ from a scrapyard?

I don't think you'll find many at an actual scrapyard, but many people or places are selling used/takeoffs for cheap. Check ebay or here or Facebook, plenty of deals to be had.

The 18 manifold + OEM CAI works really really well and like mentioned can be had for cheap.

Thanks, I never would have even thought to go that route.

Any existing threads with dyno numbers?

Roush PP1 or Ford Performance PP2 if you want something that's been developed by an actual engineer rather than a "tuner". Keep in mind that these have gone through much more development and testing vs an e-mail tune.

I agree with this statement. I bought a ngauge and tune during the Black Friday sales and I am not happy with the whole process. I still don’t have a tune and emailing the logs waiting days for any kind of response. I should of just went with the Ford PP2.

I would recommend a Ported 2018 manifold paired with a JLT/PMAS intake. Both will make very similar power i would make a decision based on which one you like the look of better. In regards to tuning i would go with the nGauge as the device and Lund Racing or Palm Beach Dyno as the tuner. If i can answer any other questions or help out in anyway send me a message!

How do you back that up? Lund and PBD have tuned 1000s apon 1000s of cars. What you will get from Ford is a 10whp bump in power & warranty. Which is great if your worried that. But how much warranty is left on a 15gt? None. Or go the other route and get a 40whp bump.

99.999999% sure there's zero E85 pumps in Ottawa. Same goes with the rest of Canada. Maybe 1 in BC. But that's like 2000 miles away haha. So no need to waste hard earned denaro ona flex tune. Myself I went with a 2020 intake & a PMAS with a 93 tune. I can get very sweet 94 octane in Winnipeg. For tuner(s), AED, Lund, Livernois, PBD, pick ur poison. Lund sells the vent and window mount kit.

What do you poor bastards up there pay for that? If you don’t mind me asking.
94 octane is right around 1.30$ liter in the summer. E85 only comes in 5 gallon pails or 55 gallon drums. Drum is 700 buckaroos which is about 3.37$ a liter. Suffice to say, I go with C10. Much cheaper than e85.

And to think, our fearless leader just promised to add an extra $0.40/litre to all grades of fuel as a tax by 2030.
