OK. Which intake to get?

My steeda was a PITA to install, specifically the joint between the plastic elbow and the maf housing. Other than it running hot in the new orleans heat (comes with the territory on open-box intakes), I have no other complaints.
Agreed it is a PITA to install for me at least. I had trouble with just about every step.

If I were to do it over, I'd get the iNjen Evo CAI. Or the PMAS

If you want the coolest IAT's possible, stick with an enclosed box intake. I don't DD my mustang, but the little bit of traffic I do see, it takes quite a long time for the temps to rise 10-15 above ambient, where it seems like guys that run open intakes the temps start rising FAST.

I recommend Airaid(same as Livernois), Injen, or the Corsa. Airaid maf diameter can be enlarged, not sure about Injen or Corsa.

This and Injens can definitely be cut not 100% sure on corsas.

If you're in traffic, do IAT's really matter? I think it matters is when you're moving and pushing the car which is usually when your IAT's are going to drop because you actually have airflow.

It will matter at the drag strip if you don`t race and going for looks then it will not matter :thumbsup:
