Sct doesn't have all parameters opened up yet, and since Livernois is their own proprietary software which seems to have opened up more tuning parameters than sct at the moment.
Lund is using a different tuner to gain access to those parameters as well. Perhaps the dyno videos from Lund are with the SCT and not their other tuner?

So in theory if you have the hypertext box from one you could purchase just a tune from the other?

you know, in all honesty i'll have to check,

the tunes actually update online, that's one of the nice things is if they push an update you just need to plug in and it will download.

CY mentioned livernois tuned his it does seem like livernois is putting down some great numbers. I was considering Lund, but I can find Lund putting down these numbers with there tune. Could it be the dyno?
Firstly, thank you for the compliment! But we use the indutry standard Dynojet in ground AWD and portable 2WD dynos.

We have been using our own software for a years now. We like to be able to alter tables as we see fit. This way we are self-sustaining.

Any insight why your tune would be making more power than Lund?

Both tunes would need to be run on the same dyno on the same day to really know who's made more power.
I would definitely agree. The next best thing I think would be to have baseline tunes on the Lunds, which I cannot find. That would give a good idea of HP/TQ increase with the same systems.

I still don't see the reasoning for all this talk about peak numbers on a some dyno. All of these results will NEVER be an accurate comparison on the internet because a lot of these test are done in drastically different conditions on different dynos. Comparing two different header brands on the same car, same day, same dyno is too costly at most shops so you just wont see it happen.

Example:
My 2012 GT made 422whp SAE on our dyno at JDM. There is another shop not too far from us with another Dynojet and my car made over 440whp SAE with the same exact setup. Great! lol

That said I like ARH for the 2015 Mustang because of their choice between the the Long System and the Bottle Neck Eliminator. This provides a nice option for the end user to build their exhaust however they want in any order.

any lund tuned car outside of the sct software will put down some killer numbers. ken is making around 450 or so with his shop car.
