  1. Is Getting to 450 WHP and not void warranty possible?

Best numbers I remember right off the top is people with long tube headers and CAI with a tune getting to around 430/400. GT350 Mani will get you some more on top of that. But going long tubes and tune is throwing the warranty out
  2. Coyote question

Mine is a somewhat DD that at least gets driven 3-4x a week at 100 miles per day or more and I purposely stay off the freeway and take secluded twisty FM roads I used to ride my motorcycle on and it gets floored regularly and while the auto won't let it hit the rev limiter I let it go all that...
  3. Critique my first three modifications:

If I did go mail order tune from all I've read I'd probably go with Lund and the Nguage. Cool tuning device with lots of monitoringn and data log capability for fine tuning a mail order tune and Lund is somewhat conservative from all I've read.
  4. Critique my first three modifications:

I'm not running a tune currently. The PMAS is the biggest intake tube you can get but you can get it with a calibrated Mass air sensor for it (Precision Mass Air Sensors) and not need a tune for it.
  5. Critique my first three modifications:

This! I forgot to add this but on the verts Borla 2.5" is all that will fit and Corsa and ARH still don't have systems with will fit verts if I'm not mistaken. I do think MBRP just recently brought one to market but BE VERY certain what you buy will fit!
  6. Critique my first three modifications:

You want a tune to be a great normal driving tune but also not have the car on the ragged edge of things... I don't know much about Bama other than watching stuff on AM. Lund Racing is so prevalent in the mustang world that many vendors on here offer their tunes. Livernois is usually top notch...
  7. Critique my first three modifications:

LOL! Same here, and the parts keep coming :D
  8. Critique my first three modifications:

Congrats on the vert by the way. When you get it take some pics, when I first joined this thread I was asked to post some pics on the vert thread on here somewhere.
  9. Critique my first three modifications:

Short and sweet, on the intake I don't know anyone with C&L, it'll be interesting to hear what you have to say about it. I and many others here have and love the PMAS intake. Lots of info on these on this forum with independent testing to back it up. I'm not tuned but most people on here are...
  10. Ok...Need advice

I have never changed a converter in my life but I can tell you that I've got 3.55 with my A6 and it makes quick work of the lower gears. It revs fast and hard, almost makes 1st overly short of you are getting on it. But 6th at 85 is turning 2500 rpm.
  11. super charger advice

Doesn't a PD blower replace the intake manifold?
  12. **PMAS cold air intake - track results**

Why? As the motor comes from the factory that inherently puts him at a 15hp disadvantage compared to an S550. Two cars weighing close to the same the s550 should at least be that fast.
  13. ATAK, Corsa, and Roush exhaust confusion

I run the S type and love it on my vert. It is deeper than the Corsa so when on throttle while there is no drone you do hear some roar the more you get on it. If I had no plans on headers I would have MAYBE went ATAK but I am VERY happy with the S type catback.
  14. Borla S type vs ford sport.....

Borla is louder but it doesn't seem so much a straight up perception of "wow, that's louder" like going s type to ATAK but it seems that the bass tones are louder and more pronounced
  15. OK. Which intake to get?

I researched the crap out of this and wound up going with the PMAS with their calibrated MAF for no tuning needed. My IAT have only been 4-8 degrees above ambient even in hot humid coastal Texas 100 degree heat in a magnetic colored car. I've enjoyed it and it runs great.
  16. Anybody here running Kooks with green cats?

I read somewhere (maybe corvette forum) researching these and they found no performance loss going from offload to green cats but a negligible loss going with regular high flow, like 5-10 hp I think. Lots to think about as I don't want to go offload pipes, I'll pay $1200 for a catback the gets...
  17. Anybody here running Kooks with green cats?

That is GREAT! I didn't know that was even a possibility, I thought the only option was to shut the rear O2 sensors off. Thanks!
  18. PMAS Intake Systems from UPR Products. TUNE AND NO TUNE INTAKES

Wanted to add that I live in coastal Texas and even in high humidity with ambient temps up to 100 my intake air temps have not exceeded 8 degrees above ambient. I installed mine where the MAF is in the box and kind of facing up and forward.
  19. Anybody here running Kooks with green cats?

Just wondering if they really run with no codes and don't smell. Read that they flow as good as catless and got me interested.
  20. Intake Noise Comparison

Agreed with the guys above. I've got a Borla S type catback and just installed a PMAS CAI yesterday and even kept the sound tube and I can't hear any difference in sound at all but with my soft top the exhaust sound enters the cabin pretty well.
