I thought the quacker state euro 5w40 was the same as the pennzoil platnium euro??

They are not the same oil. Same company makes their oils, though. But with a different formulation.

If you're a cheapskate quaker state 5w40 euro is around $20 for 5 quarts at wal mart. Meets a3/b3. A3/b4.

I'm a penzoil platinum fan. It's just hard to find in my area. Especially, the PPE 5w40.

Quacker State 5w40 euro is a “sleeper” oil and unbelievable value. Last I checked, it WAS identical to PPE 5w40 but a fraction of the cost. This means GTL base oil and robust a3/b4 add pack.

For whatever reason, it's different in the gen 1 and gen 2 cars.


"ROUSH Performance recommends Motorcraft 5w50 or Castrol Edge Supercar 5w-50 for 2018+ Supercharged vehicles. If the vehicle is not supercharged or 2017 or older, we would recommend following the owners manual for recommended oil."

why not follow the weight on the filler cap, Motorcraft, after-all, it was specified by the FoMoCo engineers…

Because Ford Engineers never intended on any of us 2xing the power output.

Dont know but changing it too PPE 5w40 tomorrow. When i asked he responded with this video and said this is why

That guys videos are the reason I put Pennzoil Ultra Plat in my car.

And make sure if you go Pennzoil its the Ultra and not the standard Platinum. I dont see it in that video, but I remember him testing the standard Platinum as well, and it was performing significantly worse in his tests than the Ultra.

They make there oil. The syn blend is recycled oil and new stock. Syn oil is all new stock
