I think most on this thread have the GT. It does indeed go back to your initial stock splash screen. Just push the voice button and say Navigation and you will know very quickly. The loss of voice navigation came with the initial map update from 29 June for some of us.
I checked mine when I got off work tonight, and Ford's site finally showed I could upgrade. I downloaded everything, it took about 20-minutes, and it appeared to install fine. The first time I powered it up after install, I was worried I lost my Ford Performance GT350 splash screen, because it showed a Ford logo animation during startup. I powered it on a second time after that, and the Ford Performance screen is back at startup. I hadn't seen someone mention that yet, so figured I would.
Also, after reading some of the latest posts, I didn't check the voice commands yet. Is there any dead giveaway that they are not there, or I need to do a master reset?
