No blue oval. From an interview in British magazine Car, with Moray Callum, Ford's executive director of design:Hi all, is it just that these are pre-production cars or have they decided to not place a Ford blue oval anywhere on the cars?

Will the Mustang have a Ford badge?
I’ve been at Ford for 15 years and the debate about the Blue Oval badge on the Mustang comes up every time we make a new one. We definitely won’t replace the horse badge with a Ford one.
It was on the '99-'04 cars.Nope, that's actually a long standing Mustang tradition, IIRC.
Agreed. No blue oval is a good thing
Because it screams generic and parts bin?I wouldn't mind if the FORD blue oval was on the car. It's all over our 88GT. I don't understand why it's such a big deal.
I would't care. That's how it is on our 88. It doesn't make the car any slower just because it says Ford instead of Mustang.Because it screams generic and parts bin?
Think about if it was on the steering wheel...
