I think this is a huge mistake on Fords part. Why cant I order a GT 5.0 with the PP and the 20" bright machined aluminum that you see on most of the GT and EB photos? For my money I think those are the best looking wheels and yes I would pay extra for the rear wheel to be at 9.5 or 10.0 for that...
Sorry but Ford really dropped the ball today! They have been building interest on the perception that there would be info released today and nothing? Wait 3 to 4 more weeks, that's really a weak performance I hope the car performs better than their PR dept.
I'd also love for Ford (for a fee) to allow some customization of the interior. Custom colored stitching, seat and door panel quilting options etc. As a kid (10th grader in 1976) I worked my ass off an bought a 1969 Mach 1 then went through a complete rebuild and blueprinting of the 351W...
Part of me would want to wait for a Boss 302 or Shelby but if I could get a GT with the performance package with a supercharger option (covered under factory warranty) that would very tempting...
Well I'm a 52 year old that would much rather drive the real thing! I've owned a 69 Mach 1 my second car actually and now that I think of it it was only 7 years old when I drove it to high school but was it ever cool! Last Mustang in the garage was a 1994 Mustang GT 5 spd with over 200,000 miles...
So if Ford is trolling this site I would love to have the option to pay extra for Grabber Blue and Im sure many of you have other colors you would love but are not offered. Many other brands allow you to purchase that option why not with the most advanced Mustang ever?
So if they offered it...
I've owned two Mustangs a 1969 Mach 1 and a 1994 GT the Gt had a small Blue oval but thinking back the Mach 1 did not... I have not owned once since but this new design is really nice, can't wait to see the Boss 302 version!
