I'm just impressed that Ford resisted the urge to put the parent brand all over the car. The galloping mustang is an iconic logo. Anytime you see it you think Ford Mustang. Chevy does not have that with Camaro or even Corvette nor does Chrysler have it.

Corvette has the crossed flags icon, which is only associated with the Vette. Chevy uses the crossed flags a lot on the Vettes.

Check out the Fairlane badging from '65. Ford used the crossed flags for a short while too.
