The base C8 already had a waitlist, this one would probably be longer. I truly like what they did with the styling, the wider / bigger wheels help with the body lines IMO.
True that. Super excited to see how this car does. If they're smart, they built it to be tuner and boost-friendly for the aftermarket since there won't be a lot left on the table for the normies.
The list has been full for a while now, the car is OR will quickly hit a 2yr wait IMO.. Besides the usual list, I was told Chevrolet was only allowing specific people on the list. You had to be designated a a Corvette buyer (no first timers) and for a chance at a Z06, ZR1, or the electric one you had to meet some requirements. To top it all off, you could only pick one list to wait on.
That's an understatement. It's not even close to sounding as good as the Voodoo.
Not entirely true. I spoke to a coworker two days ago who is on the waitlist for a Z06 and is a first time buyer. WRT sound, personally love the fact it has the characteristic flat crank sound. Wider is better, just not a fan of the direction on the front bumper and those side scoops. To be specific the separation on the front at the top with the gloss black and the extended gloss black section that swoops back on the side scoops.
