Before the covid bust, I think they might have found someone to buy it for that kind of money. I do believe one sold in SoCal for $180K. The 100K is a negation starting point. It wouldn't surprise me to see someone think that they stole it for a renegotiated 50K over.

Just remember, 200K might sound like a lot to most, but it is a drop in the bucket for some.

I went to their website and they don't have it on their website.

I just bought my new Shelby GT500. No Cftp (which I didn't want), painted stripes, tech and handling package in Race Red. Listed at +75k over Msrp!

It is exactly how I would option the car, there wasn't another within 100 miles and it was at my local Ford 10 mins from my house. Went in on a Monday to see it and left with it having negotiated the ADM down to $10k. I suspect I might have gotten somewhere between 5k and 10k ADM, but this is exactly what I wanted and I wouldn't have to settle on a single aspect of the car.

ADM truly sucks... But I hope to keep this car for a very long time. I also live in West LA and am competing with celebrities for these things. :p

I like to disassemble things.
All the celebrity talk I hear is about how we should be riding in autonomous electric pods, living vegan life in a tiny home/dog house. Do they not do as they say?

/rhetorical sarcasm off

There’s one dealer near my place in the San Francisco Bay Area who still have their GT500 with CFTP listed for $182k - and its been sitting in the dealership since before I started looking for my GT350 in August.

Buddy of mine was looking to get a GT350 when they first came out. Everyone wanted sticker plus $10-$15k. We discussed this a lot and he finally found a dealer that would do +$5k. Yes that's a lot of money but if you really want something and are going to keep the car for several years +$5k just isn't that big of a deal. No you don't want to pay it but if you're about to drop $70K on a car what's another $5k?

With that being said if someone is willing to pay me what I've got into my GT500 +$100k it is gone!

Obviously the dealer doesn't want to sell the car - they're using it to drive traffic to sell other cars and trucks.

Its called add-ons/Options, just like you said if someone wants your car with what "you put into it" then its gone. Add-on/Options.

I'm grateful to @ChuckScherr for his allotment I got, 1K ADM, because mine @12K back in Nov of 2019 I thought was absurd.
