Maryland international raceway -300 da 10.46 @ 135 mph. Glad to see someone finally putting down some good times. The run is at the 16 min mark. Looks like amazing track prep.

Sounded like the car had a decent launch compared to most that bog down off the line.

Its the white paint. Reduces airborne friction from a pronounced Toboulli effect which allows slightly increased acceleration over the lesser but peasant favored color schemes.

So my blue stripes are gong to cause some drag offsetting the white base color advantage?????

Normally, yes. In this case, the cross parallax effect negates the potential for any increased drag, rendering it a non-issue.

Nice run.
Time for a 10.3 in even better weather.

Sounds like the car is tuned well and has enough fuel....... (Stangmode KaBOOM). I'll be stock until the warranty sunsets and then will "wake it up" with conservative mods ....

You're falling victim to the lack of color it emits which can induce a bit of a Gaussian blur, which tricks you into seeing ghost images. This makes you think something is still there when in reality it is long gone.

Vinyl stripes MAY slow you down some, but painted stripes won't.
