I wish I knew!

I'm hoping there's a forced induction 5.0 or 5.2 (CPC) coming......but no factory Mach 1 has used forced induction.

It's weird. There are definite rumours that the, er GT500, might not actually be called GT500, but Ford definitely seem to be pushing their relationship with Shelby (the reveal of the 50th Anniversary Super Snake had plenty of Ford execs extolling the virtues of their relationship). Perhaps this means it'll still be a Shelby, just not a GT500. Perhaps GT750?

I still want both though......a normally aspirated Mach 1 AND a forced induction top dog :)

Haha, calm down keyboard warrior. I don't, but my close friend had owned every new platform of the GT500/350 since 08 and bought everyone without paying ADM, so he knows a few people. What do you think of this photo?
I think a 160MPH speedo would be incredibly laughable for a "755HP GT500."

Because at over 160 you're relying on your stock speedometer instead of GPS for accuracy? And you're looking down to check your speed?

I believe the Ford boys will want to exceed and not just match the Camaro LT-1 engine output (455 H.P. and 455 lb-ft of torque).
The larger Chevy engine will produce more torque than the 5.0 Mustang engine due to its much larger displacement.

The 392 Challengers are very competitive, and then some. My '16 Challenger Scat Pack weighs 4180 lbs. Stock Scat Packs run slightly quicker in the 1/4 mile vs stock Coyotes and with tune/tires run high 11's while the Coyote takes additional mods to get into the 11's. My '14 GT, for example, took a converter, exhaust, tune, and tires to get to where it's at now (see signature for details).
You might need the driver mod then. I cracked the 11s with intake tune and tires.

Shebys dont use the 160mph GT speedo so that theory makes no sense. The GT350 and prior GT500 both have 200mph speedos; it's just their thing.

Now there ARE 2 engine sizes and 2 photos ;)

I wonder if that new dual clutch and flywheel setup will be backwards compatible?
I don't really care for the dual-mass flywheel but I really hope the clutch is. If so, I plan on upgrading to it when it's time to replace the one in mine. Twin-discs are awesome.

So many aftermarket options for clutches...why use a ford part?

475 to 480 HP - I think

A 20 HP bump is not going to get Mustang fans onboard - esp. if many of them don't like the exterior changes. Not to mention Ford will most probably bump the prices up as well. So why wouldn't I just buy a 2017 off the lot at a discounted price and then add a supercharger (with warranty) if I am going to spend that kind of money?

I agree, it's not going to make current S550 owners upgrade; but Im not sure that was the point of the refresh really either. The big one is in 2 years to the S650

I think this was lets just compete with what Dodge and Chevy are putting out for now and up out features. They had to add something after 3 model years.

Eating thousands of depreciation for a few hp and torque is a TERRIBLE idea unless one has more money than brains. You can get that bump with a Steeda/PMAS cai alone.

For warranty ?
You can get a Roush/FRRP supercharger put on with a warranty at any Ford dealership. Some dealerships sell them already installed on the showroom floor.

BIG difference though in power numbers from a supercharger to a 20-30 hp/torque bump.
