Need help with Forscan codes

2019 Mustang GT base 300 package

Did the 4” to 8” upgrade and here is my current problems, I’ve searched on here for the last 2 hours and got close to finding the answer but the guy never posted the fix.

-activate volume control animation
- fix locked sound settings (able to adjust for a second then reset back to max settings, also same for balance and is locked at surround and cant change to stereo)
- compass always facing north


If anyone has those codes to fix those issues I would greatly appreciate it!

There are plenty of posts on this site, as well as the forscan site, addressing the issue. It just takes time to tinker with it and figure out the correct number combo.

He got the buttons to work but not the compass yet.

Compass fixed itself?

need volume control knob display and the equalizer / fader / balance settings fixed now. I can change them but they go right back to max. I believe that has something to do with it being stuck on “surround” but I can’t find the he code to change surround to stereo, I found the line code.

i only looked thru the non-as built configurations to see if there was anything relevant. second picture;fcim; i'm not sure why the display type is set to none ( i have touchscreen)

Hello @Kcarter88 , were you able to find the solution to the " fix locked sound settings "? I recently upgraded my base to 8" sync 3 and have the same issue.
