Got Stainless Works catted headers and LTH res delete installed. Parts from Beefcake and Lethal. 1100 for the install. Very happy with the work. No leaks no rattles no issues. Shop earned my repeat business. On time and on budget and quality work. Project 9 in Brevard County if anyone needs a shop on the space coast they did great for me.

The good-
The car sounds incredible at full rip. Throttle matching blips turn heads for a mile. It’s loud when you get on it. Really loud. I chose the catted version to escape some of the tinny rattle of catless systems, and it worked. It doesn’t have some of the most annoying frequencies uncatted cars get. With valve closed, its stock levels of quiet. With valve open anyone in a mile radius is going to look at you to see what the hell is making that noise. I get even more waves and thumbs up than I did before. Attention magnet status increased even more. Cabin drone valve open doesn’t bother me like it has on prior cars. Tolerable. 4/10 drone. Valve closed no drone at all.

Slightly detectable power increase, especially mid range. You can feel the engine breathing a tad easier part throttle low RPM. Nothing ground breaking. Stock system not bad. But it is noticeable. I plan on going whipple so this was mostly prep for that. And I wanted louder.

The bad.
It’s loud when you get on it. The sound carries. You will have attention good and bad. Cold start is the worse part. The first 30 seconds are loud even with the valve closed. There is a weird rattle that starts about 3 seconds after start and goes away after 20 or so. Once the car is warm, no problem. But that first half a minute your neighbors are not gonna like you.

For me, it was worth it. I got tired of GTs doing fly bys on me. Now I’m gonna bust their windows out for punishment. Seriously, it’s loud when angry. Can’t emphasize that enough. The car looks the part, it should sound the part as well.

You paid way too much for the install. You should have jumped in your car, drove to the designated area and followed this guy’s lead, lol.

JK, a set of LTHs really makes these Coyotes sing.

It truly pained me to pay a shop to put headers on and chop off a resonator. It’s just headers right? But after reading the directions and watching some videos, I just said fuck that. Worth paying someone else to deal with that headache.

Did you go with the legend or the redline? And H pipe or X-pipe?

I ordered the Legend with the H pipe, which was supposed to tame the loud, a month ago when both bits were on sale for 30% off. But the exhaust is going on a 5.2 CPC build, so it's hopefully a deeper sound than the Voodoo.

Either way, glad to hear you were happy with the product! Feel free to share an audio clip.

I would think if I ever went this route, I’d want the resonators. That’s gotta help with the tone and such.

1 7/8 catted headers from https://www.beefcakeracing.com/gt350hcat/ and LTH h pipe. Stock axle back wanted to keep the valves and from what I have seen the factory mufflers offer essentially no gain when swapped with aftermarket.

It’s a unique sound. Flat plane is it’s own thing. Doesn’t sound much like a Coyote. Deep low and mid range, Ferrari like at the high end. Hard to describe. Closer to a C8 Z06 than a GT or SS.

This is most likely a loose clamp. When cold things contract and will rattle until it gets hot, then no more rattle.

Kind of personal taste. Resonators tend to keep low end gurgle and a factory sound. Removing them gives it more of a race car sound. It doesn’t drone without them, so I’m happy. I prefer the more aggressive note. If the drone was like some other cars and rattled the interior and stuff, I would have kept them on.

Going with high flow cats instead of catless made a huge difference. No cats no resonators is a bit too much for me.

I guess my point was, if you went with an x pipe, and redline series, it's going to be loud AF. If you went legend with an H pipe, it's less.

Holy shit ladies, how has nobody asked for (and posted) a sound clip yet!?
Eehhh, after spending more than a fair share of time around a ton of 350's all at once (100+) with every exhaust combo imaginable, and then listening to exhaust videos as I scan youtube like everyone else, it is my most humble of opinions that exhaust videos are about as close to 100% useless as you can get. Yeah, they're cool and I enjoy them, but....

Even if you feel they give you a basic idea of the tone or sound, they do absolutely nothing to prepare you for what it's like to be right behind a long tube/no cat 350 at full sing climbing a mountain.

I get that. I once had the chance to hear a Honda CBX with a 4-into-4 exhaust do a fly by. No amount of YouTube vids prepared me for that.

If it was a CBX, hopefully it was a 6 into something pipe since they had 6 cylinders!

This is the experience I had. I tried getting video and it didnt sound any different than the dozens of YouTube videos of identical setups.

It’s much different in person. The camera just doesn’t pick up or give you an accurate representation of the sound. It’s hard to describe unless you have experienced it.

The sound carries. It echoes. It legitimately sounds like you are standing next to a track with a GT3 car passing by. A single downshift blip with the valve open turns heads for blocks.

I’m happy and for me it was worth the cost. Keeping the factory axle back with the valves suits me perfectly. I can blow the windows out of a pesky 350Z is bugging me for a race and then flip the valve and quietly pull into my condo and not wake anyone up.

You just have to hear these cars in person uncorked if you are on the fence. Videos only give you 20% of what it really sounds like inside or next to it.
