Yes. It will reset the amp as it controls the level of the chimes. Car doesn't have to be running. Just open the door and within a few seconds unplug the brown one. All you need to do is make sure the amp gets power cycled. Then press the start button then plug it back in. Just adding that you want to make sure you hear the tones come from the dash before you plug the brown cable back in.

That sounds like the better method.

Can confirm this works 100%. I tried changing it through FORScan to go thru IPC but I get a error and interruption when trying to flash. Probably need to wait for a new update that works better with the 2022

I take it back. Left the car for a few minutes. Came back turned on the electronics and it’s back to speakers at full volume.

EDIT: emailed FORScan and they sent me an update for the software. I am now able to write to the IPC module and all chimes have been sent to the cluster speaker and shortly after disabled.

~ tire circumference 2049mm to 2029mm - confirmed working (had to force PCM relearn)
~ fogs on w/ high beams - confirmed working
~ added vacuum/boost gauge - confirm working
~ disabled the TPMS in both IPC & BCM - confirmed working

Zero DTC.

Is there a way to disable the orange parking light from coming on? Obviously would still like the turn signals to be orange but until i can get my hands on the Diode dynamics replacements i just want to turn that light off completely.

Went back to pg 219 and reread all of your recent posts. I didn't see any mention of a gear change.

so i recently swapped to a digital gauge in my 2018 base 5.0 and im getting a p2068 code now but it only comes on when the gas tank is half full. a member over at forscan forums advised me to change the settings on the new dash to the same as the original.
Ie Fuel type, Fuel tank size etc, all can be done in config english text mode. does anyone that has a base 2018 mustang find out the values for those to change. thanks
