Hi guys, I just had my ESS centrifugal supercharger system installed and tuned by PBD on 93 (9.5 psi pulley).
I'll be sticking to 93 with no plans to move to E85 so I'm looking to add some extra knock protection and cooling (live in Texas).
I'm running Kooks green cats with my LTHs so don't really want to use any MMT based products long term.
From what I've been reading it seems water/methanol injection should do what I need. I won't be tuning for it, just using as a safety net

Can anyone link to a good methanol kit for a 2020 GT PP1 A10?

I have seen this but looking to see if there's something better/more specific for my car

Thanks!

I used the snow with braided lines, happy so far. Had a snow kit in the past and it worked well.

Snow 2.5 kit the gauge is the whole control unit it is progressive and it can run a second progressive system like a second meth kit or nitrous or a fuel pump or pretty much anything 12v

I assume the other kits have some of the same features as the snow. Some things I like. It is one unit that shows boost, tank level low, and how much water/meth is spraying. Also, I like that I can turn it off on the gauge. I usually drive around with it off, as quick pulls the IATs never get hot; I only get high IATs with longer pulls (1/4 mile runs, once I get to about 120 mph). One thing I do not like about it (and I have yet to email snow, but planning on it), is the test button is on main screen. You could potentially hit that button with the engine not ready for water/meth (not running, low rpm, etc). I think that should be in a sub menu, requiring more than one button push.

That looks a great setup. Do you mind posting a link to that kit please?

https://www.alkycontrol.com

Just call Julio (owner of Akly) and discuss your setup. He will put together a kit for you depending on your power, meth tank requirements, etc. My particuar setup is a dual nozzle MAP sensor based kit. I'm running a 2.5 gal tank in the trunk. The tank has a built in low level sensor that I simply spliced the trigger wire to my OEM washer fluid tank. If the meth tank or OEM washer tank get low it illuminates the light in the dash. My only complaint with Alky kits is their nozzles. They are a bit antiquated in my opinion and require you to tighten the retention nut inside the charge tube. I'm not a fan of having to take everything apart to do a nozzle swap, nor a fan of a potential of something coming loose and going into the TB. I'm actually using devilsown nozzle holders and nozzles. I had to weld NPT bungs to my charge pipe, but it makes the entire install super clean and user friendly if you need to swap nozzles. Lots of options out there. Good luck!

I'm running an Alky Control kit and no issues. Great kit, but more expensive than the Snow stuff.

Hey. Does this kit automatically turn on when you reach a certain gas Pedal position or full throttle?. Just wondering if you have it set up to automatically turn on at a specific gas pedal position. Thanks

This kit and most others turns on at a set boost pressure

I don’t think that we need a test button quite so easy to access ether but I don’t see it as a problem. Even if you are idling and hit the button it will not really do anything besides waist it. I like the progressive rate or straight on options and I really like that it is a progressive rate controller for any other system if I need it

Sweet. How long does a tank last running hard on the street?. Where do you buy your meth from?

Not a reason to not get it, I really like the interface, how easy it is to setup and control on the gauge, that is my one gripe. I wasn't sure if you could bend a rod if you had a very large nozzle and sprayed at idle. I am not going to try it, just something to be aware of and it would be better in a sub menu. I'd rather have off/on on the top menu.
