Hey guys
Anybody familiar with methanol here? Not sure where else to ask.
I plan on going with a meth setup on my S550 and am trying to get a custom tank made to fit in the spare tire well.
From what I've read, Aluminum will corrode and break down from methanol and Stainless Steel should be used. I also noticed on Snow Performance's website that their fittings are nickel plated. Although they dont say what metal is plated, would Nickel plated aluminum be what I should look for? Snow's tanks are plastic but I dont think I'll be able to get a custom plastic tank made.
Thanks for any pointers in advance. I'll be using -20F Washer fluid most likely, or Boost Juice. Not straight meth.
