My bullitt has Magnaride (as per spec)…but the vehicle rides bit bumpy. Tires are properly inflated.

is there something which could have disabled magnaride?

sorry no idea on if it can be controlled electronically…

From my understanding,
Magneride is at its softest setting when no electricity is running through it.
The harder settings are caused by the current flowing through it.
If by chance yours had an issue, (I would assume some lights would flash on the dash) but also it would be softest setting.

Thanks for the quick reply.

so there is no setting I can use to change the soft > hard or vice versa? Car is at 5200 miles. It’s annoying when you can feel almost all bumps on the road. The whole point of paying extra for magnaride was enjoying a smooth ride lol.

Thanks

I would take it to the dealer or a Mustang specialist garage and get it checked. I have Magnaride and lowered but no issues

The softest ride is normal. If you do not have lowering springs, you could take it to the dealer, they can adjust and reset the learning. Good luck

when you change settings with the flip switch it cycles through as well, Normal, sport, track, drag. i believe that is all of them.
normal would be softest and then gradually harder.
Magneride in this instance is used for performance rather than the comfort. I agree there should be a "comfort" setting for those that want to float.

There is no "learning" in Magnaride and only thing dealer can adjust is reset ride height which I can almost guarantee will have very little effect on anything. In a Normal mode, ride as comfortable as it comes.

If someone wants even less damping (but then at the risk of suspension being underdamped), DSC Sport controller "comfort" map might be it.

I think MR was an option on Euro Bullitts and not standard fit - was is standard fit on USDM cars ?

If it wasn't standard fit, are you sure your car has it ? (Confirmed in the settings and by a physical check under the car).

5200 miles seems to be a long time not to experiment with something that you might have had to potentially pay extra for ?

Either way, hope you get it sorted :like:

I found my Bullitt to ride bumpy as well. I concluded it to be the factory springs. I installed Steeda sport Magneride springs and the car rides much better than it did stock. The bounciness is gone. My dad has a 2015 911 GTS and complimented how much smoother my car rides than his over the bumps.

Car most certainly has MR.

but didn’t know about the mode setting and the comfort adjustments.
I will try this after work.

thanks for all the advice and guidance.
