2015 GT Premium PP Recaro

Recaro Seats: $1,595
10 Speed Auto: $1,595
Mach 1 Elite: $1,295

Total MSRP: $60,585

That's a pretty hefty price tag for a Mustang, even a little higher than I expected. This is not the Mach 1 I would build but there have been a lot of people posting that they want an automatic Mach 1. I was hoping that a loaded Tremec manual with Handling Package would be $57k but I don't see that happening after seeing these prices. The Handling Package is going to have the swing with Gurney flap and adjustable strut plates from the 2020 GT350/GT500 Base along with GT350 width rims and GT350R width/spec tires. I would guess the Handling Package is going to be $2,995-3,995. That would put this Handling Package build at $61,985-62,985.
I never came back to update my estimates for a 2021 HP but here's what a 2022 model year HP price looks like. A little over a year old now and still asking $55k as a clean used car.

Base price: $55,270
700A Pack $2,095
MACH 1 HP: $4,500
Recaro Seats: $1,650
GUZZLER: $1,000
Destination: $1,395
Wi-fi removal: $20
Total MSRP: $65,890

That's what I'm saying, over a year old and still very strong resale value, $55k on an original $65k sticker is actually hard to find.

55/65 is 15% off. Which is a touch low (should be closer to 17) but the car market crash hasn't really gotten rolling yet. Compared to Ecoboost where the 1yr write-down is seeing 30% (vs low 20's), the M1 is doing better, no question.

Give it a few more months, M1 will join the thundering herd to mean-reversion.

Can I consider you the Oracle of VA and hold you to that considering I'm wanting to sell my 2015 high and buy a Mach 1 low? I've had the 2015 for 6yrs, about ready to let it go to get a Mach 1.

I would sell the 15 now. Strangely the 17 and before are posted at silly high values. But 19+ are getting slashed.

I think the reason is the dealers bought the pre-18 at auction for stupid money and don't want to realize the loss. Even though they're staring at the abyss.

There are some healthy discounts on 22+ mach1 right now on cars.com and such. The ice-encased Midwest seems to offer the best pricing in general.

No doubt it was the erudite exposition of factual observation and documented metrics. Not too different from the uplifting and amicable pronouncements of Kingkona.

I wish there was a was consumers could go on Ford.com and search actual dealer inventory for 2021, 2022, 2023 Mach 1 leftovers. You can go there and search for Blue Certified inventory.

That was available when the Mach was still in production.

CarGurus and Cars.com do a pretty good job of picking up dealer inventory. I’d try one of those. Some dealers don’t participate on Cars.com for some reason, I’m assuming it’s fee driven. Cargurus is good.
