Well for clarity since you are inferring that I’m asking basic questions surrounding the S650 platform I am not.

Any question you have has probably been answered in this very forum.
I’ve done a ton of research on what the platform and PD blower setups typically are. There are multiple ways to skin a cat and everyone has an opinion on what the correct setup is. I’ve heard multiple tuners complain about tuning issues when cars are setup improperly when it comes to fueling, etc.. Rather than purchasing things I don’t need or not having the appropriate part why not ask the person directly tuning the car? They were not difficult questions, simple stuff like what injectors do you prefer when tuning? I honestly don’t see why that is hard to answer. I am trying to buy part that allows him to do his job easier. Sounds like good planning to me and the smart approach.

If I have somehow upset your hard on for your tuner I really don’t give a shit. I don’t understand a blind devotion and defending something that is not a great way to run a business. That’s not good customer service and maybe he should hire an extra person to deal with increase in volume? It’s the same shit that happens with all of the performance shops and tuners, they get slammed and because they can’t keep up with the volume the very thing that made them successful makes them implode.

Well to answer your question every tuner loves injector dynamics particularly 1050x

No doubt ID makes a great product, but it’s not always the preferred. When putting together my Hellcat setup, my tuner preferred the FIC’s and I wasn’t going to argue with him about saving a few hundred bucks on injectors.

This right here.
Wengerd set his standard very high in the beginning and IMO is finding it hard to keep that standard due to all the business.

My suggestion with Wengerd, or any tuner shop, is buy the tune and then ask the questions. That proves to the business they are not wasting valuable time.

I don't endorse any tuner but I do advise against Lund for reasons previously stated.

I was a little annoyed by Wengerd. I am not having my car tuned at this moment, but I shot him an email specifically mentioning that I will be using him in the future, and asked some setup questions. Rather than addressing any of my questions about my interest in a PD blower setup he tried to convince me to go with an ESS kit. Kind of turned me off.
Sorry to hear this. Im not sure who handled your email as I am no longer the only tuner. We expanded and are still struggling to handle to volume and are adding new employees again. Send me a dm or a email and I will handle your emails myself. We tune many pd blowers as well as centris and turbo cars . I personally have 1 of each on my test cars. Pd, Centri and turbo

You are correct. We are tuning from 9am to midnight most days to keep our turnaround times like how we started.
Its difficult but we will keep adding employees to keep this up.

As a Wengerd customer, Daryl and his team have taken extra time to listen to my feedback and revise tunes for me that dramatically improved the shift quality on my 10r80. They sent me multiple tunes to try out, and one of them ended up being a winner. It was a huge relief that Wengerd team did not blame my trans and actually made a real effort to help me. Especially considering the horror stories I've heard from Lund sending shelf tunes and blaming customers.

It nice to see the grace and mercy in this thread for tuners other than Lund… 😳

Derel is the man when it comes to tuning. I've been running his tune for years now on my Mach 1 and it's always buttery smooth and plenty of power on E85. I really want him to tune an ESS kit for me one day when I get the balls to spend 10k on everything.
