I initially just reached out to Wengerd with questions, and he responded quickly and gave me all sorts of advice before I ever even bought a tune from him. He went out of his way to discuss my build when I was just a prospective customer, all while likely being pretty busy with actual paying customers.

He made a really good first impression and that gave me enough confidence to go ahead and order an RTD and tune from him, while still waiting on my ESS G3 kit to ship out in about ~4 weeks. I also didn't want to take advantage of or push his goodwill any further with the free advice lol.

I'm pretty new here but have been lurking unregistered for a while and appreciate all the information gathered on this forum. Stoked to get this thing boosted and tuned. I'll update in this thread once it's all said and done.

Just installed my RTD+ device from Wengerd, went easier than I thought. Once I notified him stock tune has been copied he got back to me within 10 minutes and had my tune 5 minutes after that. Couldn’t of been easier.

More to this story for me....

Finally received my replacement SCT device on Tuesday. I knew in advance when I was going to get the device, so I contacted their social media person on Facebook last Thursday asking that, if I were to get my replacement SCT device on Tuesday, would I be able to get the updated tune file with the new SCT device serial number by Thursday. Not a problem was the answer. I received that tune today at noon (today is not Thursday), loaded the stock file back on, and then wanted to promptly switch tuners to Wengerd.

Wengerd, meanwhile answered 5 different emails and had my tune ready about 15 minutes after I was able to get him the stock file.

I go to load the tune using the RTD I purchased from ortiz and..... no credits are loaded to this device. So now, instead of being able to start my car and probably have it running (something Ortiz could not do on the first try) today, I again have to email Ortiz and wait until at least Wednesday of next week to maybe get my credits that I already paid for on May 11th added to my RTD device. And that is assuming they don't ask me a question, which starts the whole process all over again.

Credits added to my RTD today and tune loaded from Wengerd. Low and behold the car starts and seems to run just fine. Sent initial datalog off. Can't wait.

This will probably be my last comment in this thread, but if you can't read between the lines....

Please choose Wengerd over Ortiz performance.

If you have an SCT device and don't want to switch, then choose Juggernaut Performance over Ortiz.

What is your process if I purchase the RTD+ tuner with a 93 tune and e85 tune from you?
Do i load the 93 first, data log then do the e85 tune and data log, and then get a flex tune?
Also, if it’s too cold to run e85 for a couple months should I wait until spring to tune with you?

I only had to datalog once for Daryl/Wengerd team to confirm that all the tune files he sent were good to go.

I'll let him chime in for a concrete answer.

Thanks Darel, what about the Flex tune, is that included? I don't see an option for it on your website?
Also what if I can't datalog the E85 (E70 is best I get) for a few months because of the cold, is there a time limit?
