I have McGard nuts on all my vehicles. I mostly went with McGard because the factory wheel locks that come with the car are McGard, so getting matching lug nuts is a no brainer.

I have a special 3/8th drive 21mm deep socket I use to run them back on with my 3/8th drive milwaukee impact that I only use at half trigger then I use my 24" MAC torque wrench to tighten them to 150. I take them off with my big 1/2" drive milwaukee impact.
That’s interesting - my mustang McGards use a 22mm socket ? :like:

McGard sells them in both sizes. For the mustang I bought them in a 4 pack and they were 21mm. But on my explorer I bought a whole kit, locks and all and they take a 22mm
