I was pulling the air compressor out of the trunk to put in some sound deadener material and found a bag with new locking lug nuts shoved in it. Previous owner had car less than a year and only put 960 miles on it. Did Ford include these or did I get something for FREE!:clap2: Anyone else?

If it has the security package on the car, then the nuts are part of it, as are the alarm sensors.
But why would they be shoved in there? I find the place for them is usually on the tire :D
or if the previous owner did not like them, the boot maybe

I had a set on the car and another set in the trunk when I picked mine up from the dealer.

Security package. I never put mine on - they stick out too far and are ugly. Plus, easily defeated by a real thief.

I have found that a socket that is just a fraction to small to fit over the locking lug and a BFH will get those off very easy.

Picked up my mustang a week ago and found the same in the trunk. Irritated me that the dealer didn't put them on. Par for the course I'm afraid.
I don't like the way they stick out past the other lugs. I guess the theives may see it before buggering up the wheels and hopefully go for easier pray.

Hmmm, I just checked, window sticker says 'wheel locking kit', and no wheel locks in the trunk, guess I got shafted?

Mine came on the car when I bought it new from the dealer. I assumed they always came from the dealer installed?

Nope, just in a bag, in the boot
I asked my dealer to fit them for me, and he was happy to do so

Mine are in the trunk as well. I ASSumed this was because I havery the Performance package and wouldn't fit the wheels.

Its because the dealer didn't put them. The person who did the pdi on the car didn't want to and nobody checks behind to see if it is done.
