ok, brother. Thanks for the info. I'll be placing an order here in about 30 min. Gonna load up on the GT rails, g-brace and clutch spring. Thanks for the support on here and being available to answer questions!... speaks a lot to your business ethic.

Fred
Anytime! Here to assist wherever I can! :)

I'm not sure that the g-brace is going to clear the underbody pan.
It clears. We designed this brace with the GT350 in mind. :)

I have to play the devils advocate here in regards to these g-load braces and such. With all of the work done on these cars and how fast they are...considering how chassis rigidity has increased almost 300% since foxbody days.... I would find it surprising if Ford left that much on the table in the form of deflection/movement of suspension parts. I'd find it equally surprising if someone could actually tell the difference as opposed to placebo effect...and lastly if there was a difference, I'd find it the most surprising is someone could tell the difference on the street vs the track.

Jacking rails? I'm all in for not bending up the underside of the car.

Someone on here already installed one and said it shored up the front end well. I will let you know when I get mine and attempt to put it on.
the 2 point absolutely fits with headers.

It does tighten up the front end.

It is a super easy install. it takes longer to get the car in the air than it does to install the brace.

Also, for reference, the steeda rear camber links also fit the gt350 and work well.

to finish the front end up, i'm also installing the cortex control arm bearings. I hope to get that done this weekend.

Surprisingly I agree with you 100%. I highly doubt a single cross section tube would do anything but add more weight. On another forum a GT350 track rat local to me is 5 seconds faster on almost every track he races then his highly modified boss 302 Laguna seca. These GT350's truly are amazing.

On his GT350 the only mods he's done are:
Watson roll bar.
Safety harness.
Front race seat.
Track timers and gps.
Maximum motorsports camber plates.
Pilot sport cup 2 and Hoosier R7 tires.
Tow hooks.
That's it. Nothing more.

I also have my cortex front and rear control arm bearings. You'll love them. My vorshlag camber plates are on the way to my house too. Can't wait to install them!

The stock GT350 is a formidable weapon. No doubt it's amazing from the factory. I'll never achieve the total capability of the car, no doubt... But regarding g braces, I used think the same thing about Monte Carlo bars and strut tower braces, but when you truly get the dynamics of lateral forces, even on the underside of the car you'll understand the appeal of a g brace.

I'm not trying to discourage you in anyway. I'm also not saying anything bad about Steeda. They make high quality performance parts no doubt. But in my honest opinion, the G brace isn't necessary. But I'm not one to tell someone how to spend their money or what to do to their car.

It's all good. Your Kooks setup ain't requisite material either, but it's your car. A $79 part that locks down the front end a little better is a decent investment, IMHO, even if it's not the popular opinion.

bearings are sitting on my desk. vorschlag plates shipped today.

if they come by tuesday night, i may get them in next week.

Trying to get everything suspension related in before i have the car aligned. i can get close, but i'm using manual alignment tools.

After that, I'll finally get to installing my coolers. I think i finally have the wiring for the OEM differential pump figured out.

Wish i could take some time off to really just get everything on the car, but since work is for suckers, i guess i'm a sucker with bills to pay.

Do these have a side effect of helping to make the car any stiffer at all?
