I don't have to research to have the opinion that retirement sucking at the .gov teat is not a retirement that I want. I don't have to research to have the opinion that every person should be willing if they are able to support themselves. I don't have to do research to know that the "rich" and "government elite" will take care of themselves and don't give a shit about regular people.

I realize in the "real world" I will not be going to college for free as someone will probably take most of my possessions first. If the government is going to have so much money there's no way those of us who worked hard for all our lives will be able to keep our stuff. It's like us spending money we don't have on fiscally irresponsibly things. Lets not even get into the hypocrisy that none of you have even batted an eye at any of Trumps policies from wall spending that we are paying for, socialized farmers from tariffs, tax cuts for the wealthy, a fed budget that is spending more money than ever, and space force, just to name a few.

One of your previous statements was half correct. We can hold fossil fuels criminally liable after the fact. The government can sue them in civil court for fraud on the premies that they knew about climate change and mislead the public for decades causing substantial harm. See the US v Philip Morris.

Anyone that knows anything about politics understands that you ask for it all and settle somewhere on the right or left as much as you can. Holding these people responsible for the environment is the correct thing to do. They knowingly pushed propaganda and myths about global warming. Like I said before about the opportunity cost of a collapsed ecosystem, all while they get subsidized to do so.

This is more about accountability, as fossil fuel companies abandoned principle and morality for profit and at the expensive of literally the world. If they had invested in carbon capture research or efficient water splitting or better battery technology they could have diversified their business and been a moral leader. Now they play victim like the cigarette companies lying their way to perpetual profits.

Will we get 3T, obviously not, but we'll ramp up research into alternatives and hopefully stop the onset of increased climate change.

It's just funny that the only time you people get upset is when we talk about putting a price tag on peoples health, everything else from funding wars, corporate bailouts, and reduced taxes on the ultra wealthy get a pass tho. It's like I'm talking to the most close minded, clueless people.

You're right, lets throw $2.5 trillion into free housing, $1.6 trillion into canceling student debt,$81 billion in medical debt relief, $150 billion for free internet service and his list goes on and on. No one argues that Trump is perfect but he isn't this crazy.

While we're at it, lets cut taxes for the wealthy by 2 trillion that only half will get paid back, lets give billions to farmers on failed china trade tariffs and in the process kill business and hurt other avenues of trade, lets have Mexico... I mean US tax payers pay for a wall, and lets expand our federal budget and military budget with money we just made up. All while we do nothing to be fiscally conservative.

You're right Trump isn't perfect, the man didn't have a plan to pay for any of this. He sold lies and promises without any justifiable way to pay for this, any reasonable person would ask how but nope don't need justification when its in the interests of the wealthy. Put when we talk healthcare, student debt crisis, and accountability we'll we get all these detectives from the right coming out of the wood work and all of a sudden they're economists.

Massive military and defense spending, and tax cuts that reduce gov income, sounds pretty similar to the last recession just missing some mandatory gov spending, but we're just gonna hope those people die off before we need to pay for them.
