Happy new year to me...

Hi all,
Just purchased a 2016 GT Premium. Its an auto(wife needs to occasionally drive it) with navigation and security. Every color looks great on these cars it was hard to decide which one I liked most. I won't own another black vehicle so that was the only color out(still think they look great, just not for my DD). I really liked the DIB in person more than the photos I had seen, so I went that direction.

Can't believe the sound, power, and feel of these cars. Way better than the fox bodies i had driven in the past and my old `87 GTA.

This forum is great. I love to see all the mods folks are doing. I usually add a few personal touches to my cars, but keep them basically stock.

Introduce yourself!!!!

Hi everyone, my name is Al and I live in New York - Putnam County. Picked up my 2016 Premium GT with PP in September and absolutely love the car!!! This is my second mustang, the first was an '89 GT which I also loved and had to sell once the kids came along... Kids are now all grown up and I figured it was a good time for some driving excitement- this is definitely the car for that!

Looking forward to learning a lot from all the members in this group, just spoke with Jay from Hypermotive and will have my FRPP Touring Exhaust on order Monday morning. I've been bouncing back and forth between the Sport and Touring and feel the Touring will be best for me since I'm not looking for an overly aggressive sound.

I'm Dave and back in the Mustang business with a '16 White over Black with PP and Nav. Bought 12-31-15 and picked up today. Last Mustang GT I owned was 30 years ago to the month which was an '86 5.0 convertible. I am in the Bay Area as well and now looking forward to the mod craze to begin.

Hey guys. Brand new to this forum. Picked up my 16 mustan in November. Bad news is December came with a side swipe at a busy intersection. Got it all back good as new, now it's time to add on. Ordered the Fm outlaw axle back through American muscle for a little Christmas gift to myself. Excited to see all the small mods on this forum and really make mine stand out. And tips and secrets to the forum would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the V6 section and post pics of whatever you do to your car! It's good to see people buying the V6 and it's great to show in places like this that the car should be in your list if you can't afford a GT.

Hi.

I currently own a 2011 Performance Package and plan to replace it with a custom order 2016 or 2017 GT Premium. 2017 only if I can dig up info on any important changes before the cutoff to order a 2016.

2011 is mostly stock but with cat-back exhaust, glass instead of plastic display screen, auto headlights, take-off leather from Roush, Boss 302 Steering Wheel, etc..

The new Mustang will make it an equal number of Firebirds and Mustangs. I had two 4th Gen Formulas and still own my '78 Trans Am WS6, all custom ordered. I had an '89 LX 5.0 Ford built for Saleen but redirected and sold to me new by a local dealer when Saleen overestimated the demand for his cars.

Thanks. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They didn't hesitate with $3500 off msrp plus the $500 and $750 rebate. They even threw in all-weather floor mats and trunk liner.

Ordered exhaust and suspension parts plus working on wheel/tire order.

Wow, not bad! Keep us posted on the mods.

They weren't as ready to make a deal with me so I went to Future Ford in Concord and bought my GTPP on the spot. Mods in-progress...

Hey guys! I am new here, pretty big face over on Fast Ford Muscle because I have a 2012 cyclone and I was pointed that way years ago and have yet to venture away from the FFM fam. I have imo a pretty well set up 3.7, makes plenty of power and does great at autoX! I was also recently featured on The Smoking Tire with my grabber blue v6!

Anyways, what has really got me over here is my dad picked up a '15 performance pack car back when they first came out, and now it is time for BIG POWER! We are looking at going FI with a whipple blower, some KW V3's and supporting mods to make sure the car doesn't destroy itself. But as I am pretty new to BIG POWER I have come here in seek of advice from those who have done it.
I will be creating a new thread in the general talk and discussion in S550 in order to get the info flowing as far as the blower and mods go.

Thanks for the help, and hopefully there is plenty of great knowledge here to be had!

All new Mustang owner!

Hey guys .. name's Robert, am from Sweden but I'm currently working in Indiana. Have been stateside for 2 years and probably staying for another 2-3.

Just got my first-ever Mustang a couple of weeks ago. Before leaving Sweden I had to part with my 2010 Camaro 2SS and since getting here I've been driving a 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T. That car is now traded for a beautiful 2016 Guard Metallic GT Premium with the California Special and 401A packages.

We don't have any big plans for the car ... a window tint, possibly getting it a bit closer to the ground and maybe switching up to 20" rims.. oh and some semi-decent car audio too, I don't care much for the Shaker setup.

So anyway, just stumbled on in here ... am not expecting to post much but I'll keep an eye out for interesting stuff, just wanted to say hi mainly

Hello, name is Brock. Dont own a Mustang yet but will be getting one end of summer maybe sooner. My current rides are in my sig. Just here doing research and planning out my build. Im hoping to find a Base GT with PP in Deep Impact. I may have to order though. I have always wanted a Mustang since I fell in love at age 10 with the 95 Mustang. Its finally time to get a fun fast car. The reason for waiting is I have a baby girl due soon and just wanna wait until she is born and everything settles down a bit from that. I have been lurking for a few weeks here and really like this forum so far. So anyways glad to be hear and contribute to the Mustang family.

Hey my name is Ben from northern jersey and i have been creeping on this site for way to long so i think its time i introduce myself. I picked up a 2015 mustang GT PP in Ingot Silver with Redline premium interior. I've waited years to purchase a mustang but glad i waited for the 2015 (other years just didnt do it for me). Mods so far are roush hood scoop, roush heat extractors, roushe side scoops, stainless works cat-back, and 20% tints 50% on the windshield. the mod list for 2016 is growing with a lot of stuff on the way!! side scoops aren't on the vehicle in this pic (they sent 2 right sides :frusty: lol
