Howdy...

Recently joined after purchasing a 2016 OW/Saddle GT 6MT PP... This is my first Mustang as I've been a long time Camaro guy (don't hate), but fell in love with the styling of the 6 gens!

I only have one pic of the Mustang since it's been raining here, but have included a few of my current Camaro, a '69 Pro Touring Restomod with a 641hp Mast Motorsports LS7 engine, TCI 6x 6 speed auto with paddle shifters sitting on a complete Art Morrison GT subframe.

The Mustang

The Camaro before the restomod

And after

Whats up Mustang forum?? New guy here from AZ. I picked up '16 GT PP about 2 weeks ago and love the car. I'm coming from the Subaru world so the mustang is something new to me. Ive been car hunting for months and i finally made it to the ford dealership. Test drove the GT and the next thing i know I'm signing papers. I gave up my '12 WRX which had some nice power to it. Anyways, I'm looking forward to learning something new and seeing what you all have already done.

Hey all! I'm DoctorApollo and I bought my Black 2015 Mustang GT Premium PP back in September. Been lurking in this forum for about a year leading up to my purchase and finally decided to register. First mustang I've owned, and the first Ford in my family. I love my car more and more every day. It is my baby.

Well, I'm now "officially" a Mustang6g owner and Member!!

Traded in my 2011 Genesis coupe on a new 2016 Mustang fastback Premium EB w/Performance Package.

I still have my 94 Cobra, the EB now shares the "stall" next to it...haha

The 2016 EB Mustang was still on the transporter from Detroit when my wife found it listed on the Dealer's site! To find this exact color combo/options was very hard to find, because all Black interior seems to be pretty much standard in leather or cloth. I wanted Ceramic leather with the Ruby Red exterior, the Premium package and the optional Performance Package - as well as the auto trans (w/paddle shifters). My Cobra is a 5spd and has anything V8 I could want and I drive a lot of miles for my work commute, so that's why I opted for the auto trans (which to get everything I wanted is why this particular combo was so hard to find).

Here it is after it arrived on the Dealers lot on Xmas Eve, just after being unloaded from the transporter:

We put deposit down 2 weeks ago, before car even arrived to Dealer, negotiated best price over phone and then drove 2 hours this past Saturday up to Dealer to complete the deal.

All I can say is - the car is awesome.

The weather has been nothing but overcast and rain here in NJ over the last couple of weeks, so I don't have any real good pics yet in sunlight...but the Ruby Red is an incredible color in person!

Whats up everyone, my name is Todd and I'm an Industrial Designer/Gearhead out here in the Bay Area, CA. I recently bought a Guard GTPP which is my first but I always had a strong
fondness for the pony. I even did a sketch project before the S550 came out a while ago. http://www.2morrowdesign.com/mustang.html.

I grew up with a pony in the garage among many other fords. Previous to this I've owned several Acura's, Too many damn VW's and a couple Nissan Z-cars. All vehicles were modded
and seen some type of motorsport action. I had a '15 TLX for 5 months and I was like "F this, I'm buying a 'stang". It was my second TL/TLX, the first one was a monster and the latest
one was like softball compared to major league.

Just bought it. I got some interior stuff installed and ordered Jacking rails & cat-back. Just the beginning and it should turn out well.

Trading in the 'Ac for the 'stang. Best decision ever!

Loved this car...

Me being me...

See you at the track!

Happens to me too. I think its because I researched the camaro a lot and the online marketing powers that be market that product to you. Google, Yahoo and others all do that.

For example, I research a lot on American Muscle so everytime I look up something ads for American Muscle show up.

Cheers!

15gtRob, the mustang sounds like a fun car, any track times or side shots?

My name is Mark. My wife and I recently moved from San Diego to Rio Rancho, NM. I'm now a full time telecommuter in the IT field. My wife and I both liked to drag race when we lived in the Midwest, but stopped when we moved to San Diego since there was no local 1/4 mile track. We plan to pick that back up now that we are in the Albuquerque area, which is why I bought my wife a 2016 Mustang GT last week.

Not with drivetrain mods. I was having a lot of trouble hooking up in first and second. My best pass has been a 12.6 @ 124 MPh.

Welcome Todd, beautiful Mustang... don't see the silver luster wheels too often. I grew up in NoCal and really miss the Bay Area!

Thank you on both counts! Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how I ended up with the silver wheels. I'm not complaining though, I dig how it's a little more unique. It'll eventually get some 20's though.

Love Cali, and all it's craziness...

Happy New Year in a '16 GT!

Been a member of this site for a little while now - actually since a few weeks before I placed the order for my new baby. She rolled off the truck last night so I had to make the hard choice of having dinner and family time and then trying hard to sleep knowing I'd be picking her up today, LOL.

Traded in my '10 GT Premium Convertible this morning and then ran my errands the rest of the day top-down while getting a feel for the car. The difference in handling in this new chassis compared to my '10 is amazing to say the least. Feels just as solid, but somehow more nimble at the same time. Needless to say, I'm loving it.

Now I just have to spend the New Year's weekend installing the mods that have been piling up in my living room while awaiting the car's arrival. Let's see, there's: CDC light bar, wind screen from lovethedrive.com (recommended by CDC since they're not making them in-house anymore), CDC Outlaw 20" wheels in gunmetal with red inserts wrapped in 275/35 tires, LED lighting upgrades from diodedynamics.com (all interior bulbs, reverse light and front signal switchback kit). Then I have to take it over to Prospect Muffler here to have the Flowmaster Super-44's installed. Wooohooo.
