Hey all my name is Phil. I have been waiting for a pre ordered 2016 shadow black ecoboost premium since 7.8.2015 but with the new 0% 72 months and 1000 rebates I was able to upgrade to a 2015 GT premium, Ignot Silver 6MT, PP + Navigation. Finished the paper work today but couldn't drive her home yet due to not having the down payment agreed yet, sucks I know :(. I'll have the down in a few days. MSRP was 40415 and my OTD which includes TTL was 39195 :headbang: and zero apr means total cost is the same :clap2:

Very happy to join the stang family and will try to get pics up soon

Hello everyone, Roger here, 35 years old, Army Vet, car guy. Been a Pontiac guy for a while but thinking about a new Mustang. Right now a have a '67 GTO and an '09 Solstice GXP coupe (hardtop version, pretty rare). As much as I love it, the Solstice is on the market and I plan to replace it. I should've bought it in a stick (got an auto so wife could drive it and she doesn't drive it anyways) and I will never buy a black car again. Absolutely beautiful when she's clean, but so SO hard to keep it that way.

I could get another Solstice coupe, love the car. Downside is support will be harder and harder to get as time goes on and a much smaller aftermarket. Also with the coupe specific parts and so few being made, probably very hard to replace certain things. Tail light housings, top, back and side glass, etc. Another option is a 2000-2002 Trans AM WS6. Better support but aged in certain aspects. I don't care for the new Camaro's and Chrysler doesn't have a great reputation in regards to reliability lately.

Mustang surprisingly has been on my brain lately and I am looking at possibly getting one. I never thought those words would come out of my mouth but they did. I have generally not been a Mustang fan. Nothing to do with the car so to say, but the fact that it is the most prolific sports car around. I like having something different, and the Mustang is anything but. They are everywhere! That being said I am thinking maybe I need to change my thought process on this. While I like having a car that is different, that also comes with a cost. Less support, smaller aftermarket, higher costs to repair are things that generally come with a more unique car. Having such a popular car seems like it would have it's perks. The Mustang will always have support, a huge aftermarket, and presumably lower repair costs due to parts being easier to get. With the aftermarket I can make it my own to a point anyways. On top of that I think the new Mustang is a beautiful car.

This is what brings me here. Do some research to make a more informed decision about a possible purchase. See what people like and don't like about the new Mustang. While there are other cars on my list, the Mustang is the main one I've been thinking about. I would probably be going after a GT premium but I will say there is a 2012 Boss 302 at my local dealership that I've been eyeballing as well. Nice but I have to remind myself support won't be as easy with it and I wouldn't want to do much to it. The Boss is probably best left as is, the GT would be a good car to play with. Anyways I know that was long winded but here I am. Hi!!!

I had already joined two other Mustang forums but after looking around this looks like the place to be for the new ones. =)

Pictures of my current toys.....

^ Glad to hear you're now in the Mustang-mindset. For a guy who has a large classic GTO muscle car and a small Solstice sportscar, the Mustang will fit the bill for you. It's both muscle car HP and sports car handling...together in a true automotive value. Hope you spring for one. And thanks for your ARMY service!

Hello from Palm Harbor Fl.

Been lurking for a while now. Finally pulled the trigger on a Ruby Red 2015 Ecoboost Premium with performance package. This is the first mustang I have owned and prior to kids coming, i had a total of five Nissan Z's (3 z31's and 2 z32's). Looking forward to gaining insight from the forum and joining some meets.

On a side note, its been a bit over ten years since i drove a manual car... somehow stalled it within the first 30 seconds of the test drive  . I seemed to have remembered as the 40 mile trip home was uneventful.. well other then being fun!!!!!

Thanks,

Eric

Hey people of m6g,

My name is William and currently a student studing EE in Bothell. It wasn't until recently that ive realized my interets in the art of the automotive industry and automotive sports so ive got a lot to learn. I am new to the domestics, especially Mustangs as i come from a family of Honda/Acuras but im loving the new scene. :ford: I am also a very lucky owner of a premium triple yellow eb manual pp w/ recaros. Hey guys, i'm Mike. I was involved in the car scene for a long time, both domestic and import. Had my own shop for a few years before getting a real job. After a several year absence, I just picked up my 2015 Ecoboost to go along with my F150 Ecoboost. :headbang: I've been lurking here for almost a year but look forward to getting things going on this new car! Have just over 100 miles on her and several parts already on order. Look forward to my time here!

Name is Lou. Been on here for a few months while i waited for my car to be made. Just got my Black GT Premium a week and half ago. Trying to get that mileage up to about 1000 before i start to dig into it. I have had about 20 fox bodies over the years this is the first platform since then that i liked. Now i need to sell my old chassis and start on the S550 bandwagon.

Ford Mustang V6 2014 - Club of America Edition
Morning everyone!
I am Alex and I am currently working in Oklahoma USA! I already own a Mustang 2014 V6 but you know there is always rooms to improve if you get a V6. :) Lateley I figured out, that the speed of my car is limited to 113mph (drive faster and the drive shaft will break and god knows what else :headbonk:), so I am looking for a new car! One could say "You can't drive faster in the US anyway, so why bother?" The reason is simple: I am originally from Germany and will go back in a couple of years. Taking the Stang with me was my plan to start with but driving the Autobahn limited to 113mph is like riding a turtle in a horse race .

So I am currently in the decision making process and hope to buy in a few month. Goal: 2016 GT Premium in Ruby Red. I am not sure regarding the performance package right now since it is manual I really like the autostart feature of the automatics. On the other hand I miss driving manual a lot! :)

Anyway, this forum seems like a great way to get pumped for the S550!

It's good to meet y'all! :)

My name is Mike. I just joined and just traded my 14 GT TP in on a 15 GT PP 300A on Thursday evening. I'm blown away by how much better this car is. I removed my MGW racespec and GT500 mufflers from my old one. All I need is a knob adaptor for the MGW to work in the 15, but so far, I'm really liking the stock shifter. I noticed that Ford made a nice looking bracket to connect it to the trans instead of that tubular crap that was on my 14. Trying to figure out my first mods, probably leave the suspension alone as it is so much better handling than even a 14 with springs/shocks/bars etc. I'm more interested in picking up usable power.

Welcome Mike! Yes, the 15 is a great car. Just added wheels and tires last week after owning the car since November. My car looks totally different. I lowered the front end yesterday with Steeda Progressive Springs and love it. Got that rake I want. I have a Gibson cat back and now the look matches the sound. For now the tune will wait. Oh yeah, Stance SC-1s on M/T Pro Comp Street 275/35/20 and 305/35/20. I am dog tired now and have kids coming to visit in hour so I'll post up some picks this eve. You'll love the forum!

Hey everyone! New to Mustang6G, but not to the Mustang world. I've have many of mustangs and cobras in my life, but just recently purchased a Magnetic 2015 GT Premium. Did my first oil change last week at 1100 miles. It was very easy! Just like the rest of them. I'm stationed in Germany right now and the car loves the Autobahn!!
