  4. Didn't plan to say goodbye to the stang today.....

^ I didnt think I was crazy. I'm no kid, I've had about 55 cars. I usually tell it like I think it is, not how I think others want to hear just to sound like everyone else. They are very different cars and I like both.
  5. Didn't plan to say goodbye to the stang today.....

Don't go with your trade in...... I never use the back seat unless my large 14 year old decides he wants to ride that bad and my wife or other son does too....he's willing to suffer as he is an absolute fast car freak.
  6. Didn't plan to say goodbye to the stang today.....

I have no issue seeing out of it. Not sure why so many folks whine about it. Plenty of sports cars don't have ideal visibility. As some love to say here and other forums about a flaw in a car they love, "if you want visibility, buy a practical sedan!". No two door is practical. I'm no...
  7. Didn't plan to say goodbye to the stang today.....

I definitely loved the looks of the Mustang. I think the Camaro is more muscle car where the Mustang seemed more Euro to me.
  8. Didn't plan to say goodbye to the stang today.....

Thanks! Let's just say they gave me way more than I thought it worth and I'm in the car business. I've seen a premium perf pack for sale for what they gave me. And it wasn't an allowance based on the discount they had to do on the car to match another dealer. I listened to the sales manager...
  9. Didn't plan to say goodbye to the stang today.....

Well, I've been a long time GM guy, but I've also had quite a few Mustangs as well. I traded my 14 GT TP car in on a 15 GT PP after driving the 15 Camaro SS 1LE. They wanted 5k more for the 1LE and interest on the loan where Ford had 0 for 72. No brainer and the Mustang had the much nicer...
  10. Holley Sniper EFI Fabricated Intake Manifold

So it sounds like the Sniper might be worth considering if you just race it and don't expect as much fun as a daily driver. That's substantial torque loss for an engine that's already torque challenged as has already been mentioned. Nice for show too as it's easily the best looking IM.
  11. Firestone Indy500 or Kumho PS91

Dont care for the soft sidewalls and mine has started driving wonky after about 14k miles and Ive aligned it twice.
  12. Firestone Indy500 or Kumho PS91

Voted Firestone. I wish I had taken a chance on them last year when I bought my Conti DW's. They were quite a bit less too. Loved my Firestone SZ50EP's back in the day. Firestone could probably charge $50 more per tire and still sell them well.
  13. Installed PMAS no tune CAI

Meant to say tune required. Dee ta dee!!
  14. Installed PMAS no tune CAI

That sale ended. It was 20% off
  15. Installed PMAS no tune CAI

I had to push that thing in with a prybar. I barely got it started by hand.
  16. Installed PMAS no tune CAI

Cool, thanks! I had read about the qc. Just wanted to pass on what I saw. Thanks for the input.
  17. Installed PMAS no tune CAI

Well, that was fun. I used a gear wrench (10MM) to get the sound tube off the firewall. Shoved my left arm back there between the header/strut tower and under the ST brace. Took a while, but I got it off. There are no instructions, just a link on their site to pics that were hard for me to...
  18. Another stage 2 Whipple dyno...

Not much to complain about with that kind of bolt on power!
  19. 17" race wheel other than racestars? and 26" tall tire questions?

99-01 or so GT 17" wheel works great. http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-OEM-Ford-Mustang-factory-alloy-wheels-Rims-3307-99-04-/361915361069
