Well you guys are right, the Ford Customer Service folks are very nice. I got the 360 open and now awaiting a call back from my local dealer's Service Manager. We will see what they offer.. I'm looking for extended warranty on entire AC system and affected components.

Hi Guys, After the last evaporator repair done at my local dealer they stated I should file a Ford 360 case... the kicker is they can't help me... has anyone done that before? I'm getting concerned as I have one more year left on my bumper to bumper and the AC is going to fail...

I would agree. It was weeks the first time and two full days this time. They joked if they do it a third time it will be faster .

Already ahead of you. They showed it to me along with another one they just did. They had the car for two days, they stated it took six hours for core replacement. I've heard this number from another dealer on another thread before. Doubt they just charged it up and put on the paperwork it's...

my car is done... ice cold a/c once again.. This time the part number was different then last time. Total job time was right at six hours for replacement, they also did the door latch recall as well. Now I need the steps on how to file a ford 360 form in case this happens once the car is out of...

in Sept 2016 they replaced mine with FR3Z-19850 R - we will see what they install now.

Car really does not qualify for lemon law under Florida law as it has only undergone the same repair twice. Florida law states at least three.... All i want is an extended warranty on the AC as the system has been open a couple times now. I saw something else in the thread about a loner car...

mee three... I will have to fill out something called a 360 with Ford. I am concerned now that something else could happen as a result of all this work.. ie compressor failing sooner than it should but outside of warranty. I have about 13 months left of the bumper to bumper and have no idea what...

Well i heard from the dealer.. Its confirmed.. Its the evaporator core.. that puts me in the two evaporator core club... Think about it, this is the 3rd evap core this car has seen.. counting the one that came with it. :lol: good news is car should be fixed by tomorrow.

Wow this thread grew.. I had my evap core replaced back in September of 2016... looks like I need to get it done again as my A/C stopped working this weekend. Off to the dealer for possible core #2.
