Hello,

The release of the Mustang in EU has got my attention so I try to discover as much as possible of the S550 by reading the forum...
(dealers in Belgium know nothing about the car... :( ) Great stuff in here so finally decided to register.

Although I haven't placed an order yet, the GT is one of my favourites to replace my current car with.

So if you don't mind, I'll keep gathering info/experiences and who knows I'll order one!

Mike from Hixson, TN here. Have been lurking for quite some time, and finally took a step forward by placing a hold deposit on a new 2015.
I went with a base EcoBoost with the Performance Pack, black, 6MT. Should be picking car up on Saturday, or sooner...went with an out of town dealer.
previous Mustangs...
1) a 2010 GT, which just didn't really do anything special for me once the newness wore off. dunno why, I just lost interest in it.
2) my first car, (long time ago) a 1980 Mustang Cobra with the 2.3 turbo, which I ran into the ground with youthful foolishness.
am I trying to relive my childhood? maybe.

Hi, new to this forum. My name is Simon from Sydney Aus. I have had GT Ford (Falcons) for years, but since Ford Aus stopped producing performance V8's I'm am now waiting for the Mustang to arrive. In either Deep Impact Blue or Black. Unfortunately we wont be getting the factory spec GT 350/ or GT 500, so aftermarket SS will be the go
My daily drive is now a Surf 4WD (same as the 4Runner)

Hello everyone! I have been stalking this forum for several months now, and finally joined! I have been patiently waiting for a while now to have a GT Premium (performance pack) in my garage. The wait has been awful, as I have had a car delivered exactly to spec to my dealer, only for me to pass on it. I decided to wait for the 2016 model as I am already so close, and the Sync 3 just looks like such a better system than MyFord Touch. I am really excited about having Apple CarPlay in it. But since I am getting a manual (and don't want to text while driving), the usability of the new system will be worth it. I have already worked a deal with my local dealer for 4k under MSRP, and that's on a pre-ordered, straight off the truck, delivery. I cannot WAIT until it gets here! I have not put in my official order yet as I am having the hardest time picking my final color. Race Red, DIB, and Ingot Silver are my choices. RR in person is just stunning (never liked red before), silver is easiest to keep clean and is low profile, and the DIB is unique and eye catching. I also don't want to place an order till I can see what the yellow jacket interior looks like! I am looking forward to learning from all the knowledge on this board, and am beyond ready to join the Mustang Club!

It's great to find this forum, the most activity by far. I've had convertibles since 1972. First a MG Midget, then Spitfire, then a Fiat Spyder 124, next a '69 vette (biggest lemon ever), followed by a MB 450SL, followed by a daughter (so sold SL for a Honda and $$$ back). My first Mustang was a new 1990 GT 5.0 convertible. Kept it until 2012 when I sold it and got a 2008 Red GT Convertible. After seeing the new 2015 Mustang, I sold the GT and ordered a new EB Premium with 6MT, fastback and few options. Price is < $27k. Build date is 5/12/15 and EDD is 6/13/15. Looking forward to enjoying this for a long time.

Hi Everyone,
I am Graeme from Sydney - Australia.
I have just ordered a MY2016 5.0 GT Fastback, 6 Speed Manual in Race Red.
Unfortunately I have a 12 to 15 month wait for the delievery due to Australia having right hand drive.This delievery time may shorten as we in Australia are waiting for Ford Australia to make an announcement in the next week or so, re the timetable for delieveries in Australia.
This will give me plenty of time to plan my upgrades/mods.
I currently drive a HSV Clubsport R8.
This is a GM car with the 6.0 LS2 V8.
