The Hand Brake is mechanical, not electrical operated like some cars are.
To re-route the mechanical components of the Hand Brake for the Right Hand Drive was going to be a major design issue, eg. headers and oil cooler...
Many imported cars have the Handbrake on the left side of the Centre Console.
My sons Mitsubishi Evo has the Handbrake on the left side of the Centre Console.
The same as many European Cars sold in Australia have the Indicator Controls on the left side of the Steering Wheel and the Wiper...
After having the genuine Mustang GT Strut Tower Brace for 2 years, I finally fitted it last week.
You can also see the UPR Oil Catch Can.
I fitted the Catch Can the day I picked the car up and it had 10km on it.
By the time I drove the car home and fitted the Catch Can, it had 21km on it.
After having these Roush Side Scoops for 6 months, I finally fitted them last week.
I was unsure if I should fit them or not, however I am extermely pleased with the result.
Page 192 of the Australian Mustang Owners Handbook, states the Oil Viscosity should be 5W-30.
I have spoken to the Service Manager at my Ford Dealer and he advised Ford Australia are advising 5W-30 should be used, based on the Australian Climatic Conditions.
I have also spoken to Ford...
This is the Oil I use.
This Oil is hard to come by.
I bought mine from a Oil Wholesaler, 'One Stop Lube Shop', in Taren Point, (Sydney).
You have to buy a box of 4 x 5 litre containers. From memory I think it was $175.00 for the 20 litres.
This will do 2 Oil changes.
I used Mobil 1...
Our Australian version of the Mustang does not have the Torsen Diff.
The Torsen Diff is an option on some of the USA spec cars.
We have a standard LSD.
If your Diff is clucking, bring it to the attention of your Dealer.
The Diff may have excessive backlash, which a Diff expert can shim...
Looks like Brake Fluid / Clutch Fluid, has attacked the Clear Coat / Paint.
Is it on the same side as your Brake Master Cylinder?
Could have been spilt while filling up the Master Cylinder.
The only way to repair it, is to paint the entire panel.
Don't ring your Dealer.
Go to the Dealers and ask to see your car.
I know of 2 instances where cars had body damage, the Dealer sent them to a Panel Shop for the repairs.
If your car has been repaired, your Dealer is required to tell you.
I went and viewed my car with the sales...
Your joking.
Oil Filters, Air Filers and Spark Plugs, along with Oil, are a Dealers 'bread and butter'.
How many Oil and Oil Filter changes have they carried out, charged for the Oil Filter, but not changed it?
Had my car serviced, (1 year / 15000 km), 3 weeks ago at Peter Warren Ford.
They advised the next Map Updates are due to be released by Ford in October.
I used Mobil Super 3000 Formula FE 5W-30 Full Synthetic Oil.
It meets the Ford Specification WSS-M2C913-D as Ford state has to be used, along with the 5W-30 Grade.
You can not buy this oil at retail outlets.
I bought mine at a Oil/Lubricant wholesaler.
Comes in a carton of 4 x 5 litre...
Had my GT V8 serviced last week.
Was the 1 year / 15000km service.
Quoted price was $440.00, however they charged me $282.00 as I supplied my own oil.
No map updates as I was told they are released around October each year and mine was the latest version.
