Hi all. Just purchased my first Ford, a white '19 Mustang GT Premium...for my son. I was trying to steer him towards a Camaro SS, (I have an '18 ZL1) but he's always loved Mustangs, and after doing research, it seems the options for upgrades and modifications for Mustangs are greater and more accessible. I'm hoping he catches the bug!

Anyways, the car does need a little cosmetic work before I give it to him, and this is where I need some help. I'm having the deck lid repainted and I'm considering whether to replace the factory spoiler with an OEM GT350 Track Pack spoiler. I figure a spoiler will be one of his first mods, and so may as well take care of it now while it's apart. Does this spoiler bolt right up through the factory spoiler holes? And, are there better options out there?
Put on of these on my car, two posts up...I love it.

Hello,

My name is Ryan and I just got a Mustang GT and I'm here because I have tons of questions! For example, I think I need jacking rails because all I have is a floor jack and it would be super convenient to just use it twice (once per side) rather than 4 times (once per corner), but I overthink things and BMR says their rail is better and Steeda says their rail is better and now idk what to buy :(

Anyway, here's my car:

Welcome. There are many members that use either or. I personally have the Steeda full-length jacking rails.

Hi everyone. Jon from Charlotte, NC here. Just purchased a 2020 GT on Monday. I was actually planning on waiting for a C8 vette, but decided to test drive a few other cars before committing and just fell in love with the mustang. After the test drive I spent some time building one on Ford's website and found the exact car I wanted at a local dealership. 401A, PP1, A10, active exhaust, magneride, safe & smart, B&O stereo, magnetic metallic.

Funny thing is, this isn't my first 'stang. My dad used to have a '66 coupe that he gave to me since he couldn't really put in the time needed to fix it up, and it needed A LOT of work. That was about 8 years ago. I ended up selling it (with his blessing) for the same reason, as we had just purchased our first house. And now here I am.

Hey guys, I'm Jake from Central PA. I registered a bit ago but haven't gotten any good pics of my Mustang until recently. I drove a 2007 GT (stock) before, and recently upgraded and got a '15 Ecoboost (50 Year Anniversary Appearance Package) instead, mainly on account of price and practicality. Just starting to get into mods, hopefully I can meet some fellow 2.3L enthusiasts! It deserves a bit more love, if you ask me :like:

Welcome RaceRed. You can share with me... l took my Black Shadow Mustang for its 1st 12 month service June 2019 a free service...... At the Dealers. Waited in showroom, finally Manager said car is ready, HOWEVER... SORRY....... We damaged your Brand New Mustang...........rear Wheel arch crumpled on the flat area.......Accidents happen but ffffffffff....... me. Yes they got it fixed, took a few days - probably thrashed it as well. Last service, last week, I paid for it and the mechanic was a mobile one. I had seen his work.....I will not let the car out of my sight in the future with any mechanics. Least now I know what quality oiI I am getting and I can damage it myself.
You know, Ford dealers need to know this. In some cases they do not know how special these cars are to their owners and go about treating them like a '74 Maverick. I have seen flat rate guys lift up front fenders to gain the clearance over the hoist arms. The Porsche world is very careful with clients cars but their techs are paid hourly, not flat rate.

2019 Mustang EcoBoost
Hi all. Just recently came across this site and figured I'd sign up. A lot of really nice cars here, and I'm enjoying checking out what you all have done with them. I've had Fords exclusively for over thirty years, starting with an '82 Capri, then an '85 Escort GT, an '82 Granada 2-door with a 5.0 HO, a few V8 Thunderbirds, and several others. Never owned a Mustang, always wanted something a little different. But I studied every issue of MM&FF, and 5.0 Mustang, and all the rest, and was always a bit envious of all the aftermarket support...
So, sticking with the theme of "something a little different," I decided on the EcoBoost instead of the 5.0. Like many others, I was reminded of the old SVO's. I found one in Velocity Blue, and it was an easy decision to buy it. For now, I'm working mostly on the cosmetic side of things, though it does have a few bolt-ons like MBRP Race exhaust and MA Performance intercooler, and once there are a few more miles on it, it'll get a tune and eventually an upgraded turbo.

Hello everyone, I’m Adrian from Kansas. I just picked up a new 2019 Bullitt last week and I can’t wait to start modifying it! I plan on doing the usual mods, such as headers, shifter, suspension, driveshaft, half-shafts and audio upgrades. Prior to the Bullitt, I had been out of the Mustang game for about 5 years. This car makes the 9th Mustang for me since 1996. I’m looking forward to learning a lot about the S550 here, as well as contributing some of the knowledge that I’ve learned over the years.

Hi everyone, Jamie here, from NKY, been using this forum for a while, thought I'd sign up.
This is my 3rd Mustang, and by far the best. I've had lots of fun driving it and modding it.
2015 GT Premium, 20x9/20x10.5 STR Candy Copper wheels, MBRP catback exhaust, JLT Cold air intake, Lund tuner and E85 tune, badgeless rear end, 1200.1 Rockford Fosgate amp and Skar Audio sub in factory box, Roush hood scoop (test fit in pic, it's black by now), black 5.0 fender badges, Black Pony emblem on grill, No name "Duckbill" spoiler, other little things.
Thanks for looking.

Hello from Northern VA. Ive been part of the Mustang EcoBoost forums for a couple of years already but thought I'd join the 6G forums finally! Currenty shes mostly FBO with a tune from PDTUNING. My other car is a boosted Honda CR-Z Hybrid with a LOUD Sprintex blower. I daily the Honda and have gotten 40 MPG if I drive like grandma but usually see more like 20 MPG. The Mustang sees as much as 27 PSI boost on the regular. Installing a Turbonetics NX2 kit in a week or 2 and should be making close to 380-390 Wheel HP on an updated tune.
